that was quick! but when I play it (I lost patience and learned off sheet music) I have the left hand playing 4-5 all the way through, not sure if that is a mistake on the writers behalf, or it's in the actual song, but I think it sounds better, and instead of just octaves, I play the left hand with the middle note in as well, to make it a chord rather than just octaves, but good tutorial anyway! :)
Yes, so there are different versions out there of course! :) I chose to do 3 all the way through to make it easier, but you can always play 4-5! :) Playing your power chords in left is also a nice touch :) I do that in the chorus as well, with the little part I'm showing!

I am use to playing chords but can't reach octaves...alternative to octaves????
Yes you can! drop your hand a little bit lower on the piano and play with the side of your pinky as well as the thumb instead of the whole finger, I have tiny hands too and I can manage octave+2 like this :) Go try it out!
