Absolute masterpiece, really neglected and rarely heard early stuff by them. was, one of, my fondest introductions both to their music and krautrock in general. thanks for the upload.

Robin Gibb Was Used Such A Machine Even In 1969 On The Song "Saved By The Bell", But I Don` t Know, If He Build It On His Own Like "Kraftwerk" Did. They Are Known For Building Their Equipment. And By That Time The Tone Of Gibb Sounded A Little Bit Like Music From A Solo Entertainer On A Marriage With Cheap Rhythm In The Background. It Sounded A Little Bit Like "German Schlager" (Music-Style) With English Lyrics. So I Would`nt Call It Rock Or Pop. I Am Sorry For That.
this was recorded and released in 1971, around the same time "Dark Side of the Moon" was recorded. So yeah, it's possible the intro of "Kling Klang" has inspired "Time".
Who would expect it, a Kraftwerk album without any synthesizers or electronics! Edit: Found this video again and forgot I commented before; I also wanted to say that the intro reminds me of Mitternacht on Autobahn.
I'm guessing you didn't contest the copyright claim which is credited to The Orb, - "Assassin" as played at Woodstock '94... who actually sampled it in their song Assassin... not that The Orb even knows anything about it... I think it's funny cuz it's the reverse of what it should be, but I wonder how many erroneous copyright claims have been made in the sampler's favor rather than the original musician technically it's kraftwerk there should be getting royalties from this, not The Orb, more than likely Kraftwerk is getting a portion of the royalties that The Orb gets, however in this case they should be getting the full amount and The Orb shouldn't be getting anything, since this is the original work and not the sampled bit from The Orb's song.

This song is 50 YEARS OLD
50. YEARS. OLD.
Kraftwerk was for sure, very ahead of its time.
Wendy Carlos tho
Karlheinz Stockhausen tho.
I bought their records in NY as imports. I heard and bought the first record, so bought this as soon as I could get it.
@@ΞενοςΑγγελος Stovkhausen, Varèse, Riley... The mid 20th century was way ahead of the current times in music.
Feels like a prequel to Autobahn. So underrated.
100% right
I prefer it to Autobahn actually.
Well the thing is on this album they used sort of like wavy electronic keyboards
I think they used a farfisa electric organ
It’s beautiful

Mein absoluter Lieblings-Kraftwerk-Song!!
These guys mean the world to me. This is beauty personified.
I love how it just slowly speeds up, I'm guessing it was via slowly turning up the tape speed. Kraftwerk's kraut material was so much more interesting
the early Kraftwerk had a special magic... that reminds me of my youth with longing......rip flo.......in tke kling klang universe
That whole segment between 11:15 and 14:00 is one of the most peaceful and wistful pieces of music I've ever heard.

Very special. Have owned this album since 1981. Shortly before its deletion.
I like that guitar.
In This Track (1971) They Used The First Ever Rhythm Machine In Modern Pop And Rockmusic, As Far As I Know.

There is a drum machine and e-piano in this song...
11:00 is dope
First example of ambient music before Brian Eno
Yes I Heard eno took all from the german krautrockers
I'd like to compose something like that myself( tho, maybe add some guitar and alive bass to it- here it's Hammond bass pedal, i think).
real music brought me here
Fucking magic.
Music from down the Rhein
quite nice
despite it's name it's glistening and rather gorgeous.

I got the vertigo double LP. Sounds very goood.
I want to get that one since ordering it is probably cheaper than getting either one of their first two lps on their own
when people first heard this high I bet they got confused when the pitch keeps changing
technically it's just the tape was sped up... you can tell because while the pitch changes, it changes on everything, and the rhythm speeds up as well
it's been 2 years listen to it again 😂
Makes sense still a bit of a illusion especially back then
