Hi Bud, your Kouros...1 spray be hind each ear, 2 sprays on the back of the Neck. To get a nice wearing and smell it around you. walk back in to the room where you sprayed it and then smell it in the air, you will be surprised
Wish I bought more of those L'Artisan bottles in 2015/2016. They were just about giving them away. I had that rectangular tin of the 2ml samples that I got from Twisted Lily for 12. I gave that away though. For fun, I just looked it up. Yup, 10x2ml. The asking price is from 100 to almost just under the 2 mark. Fthem. I like the Aedes de Venutas one. I wish I bought their travel atomizer of it. Super cool looking. I think I told ya about my Clive's. I have two private collection sets, plus I got a bottle of Rock Rose. The one set and the bottle I got from Clive themselves, and the other set I got from a basenoters. All three I got a great deal, and yes I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a 50 of C. If I can get it for a nice price, awesome. If not, well at least I have 15 ml of C. Great review and thank you again.
Excellent video, as usual. I had C.C X..I really like it. Now I have X Liquorice Twist. It's the original with a little maple..and obviously licorice added. It's really good. I also have C.C.. E Gourmande Oriental. I don't love it lol. It's too sweet, smells like a Yankee Candle. But it was on sale on the Mr Porter website for $45..so the bargain hunter in me had to get it lol. Keep up the great work, bro.
Another great overview.... I've not been interested in CC. But you mentioned Spirit of Dubai which I am a huge fan of.... And of course L'Artisan one of my favorites. Still have to sort out a few more on my list like Dzing and Dzonka. ✌🏻
Same here, I don't doubt the CC fragrances at all, it's just the presentation and prices divert my radar so to speak. L'artisan on the other hand has gems in abundance and there are some great offers to pounce on now and again. Recently almost pulled the trigger on a 30ml old style Timbuktu until I realised the asking price is the same as the 3 bottles together which is still available. Dzing and Dzongkha yep still on the lookout.
I forgot to show Dzing! Its like the old days of my channel where every episode i had to make uo the mistake on the next one... just sample c for men & X for men... the rest of the CC are meh 🤷♂️
Greetings Ramsey! Timbuktu was one of my first "intellectual " fragrances, food for thought. Personally evocative for me of ancient and unique African old civilizations. Happy to hear the editions from Puig's era are still decent.
If you are a big fan I would say go for it... other wise if you have a parfums corp or something like that the reformulations were really good for the longest time ... anything with the silver shoulders are really good... its just the new one that is a little off ... the beauty of the ritz bottles are the natural civet smells so surprisingly elegent it isnt the dirty beast everyone thinks... the notes are refined in the ritz version & the dry down is amazing 🍻
I have yet to sample any fragrances from either of these houses. I have to say Clive Christian put me off a bit by the gaudy bottles and bragging about it's price but they sound interesting enough to try. I'm sampling a decant of Nishane Nefs today and oh boy oh boy!! It's a beautiful beast, quickest love at first sniff I've had in a long while. Have you tried it?
I have not ... i like Nishane sometimes ... like for example sultan vetiver & fan your flames are loves... but Ani was a real let down🤷♂️ I will put Nefs on the to sniff list... whats it like??
@@RamseytheRam Very complex and dark, spicy, saffron, a bit of oud. Strong oriental vibe like old Opium. Some fruity sweetness. Changes a lot from opening to dry down.
I don't think any of the Clive Christian fragrances is worth the full retail price. But there are 2 CC fragrances that I really love and I am happy to have bought them at discounted prices. They are X form men and Matsukita.
@@RamseytheRam Totally Agree with you. By the way the Clive Christian C Woody Leather is the same C you have. I am just letting you know because after I finished my bottle of C(the one you have) I went to Bergdorf Goodman here in New York and i realized that the bottle have changed, now it says C Woody Leather, but the smell is the same.
Ohhh no i forgot to show my bottle of Dzing 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ 😳😂 Its like the old days of the chanel where I always forget something from the previous video... i really want traversée du Bosphore 😊
@@RamseytheRam it did seem like you held a few bottles back. TdB is a very unique parfum and if I remember correctly has some structural and conceptual similarities to Dzing. Both of my bottles are kept in Cameroon.
@@RamseytheRam it's strange with L'Artisan when their products are discontinued they disappear very quickly. I have been looking for Mon Numéro(s) 3, 6 and 8 for two years.
Ya thats a good shout... i found a bottle of TbD but its from the bloke who took a MONTH to ship my last order & I dont want to give him any more business lol
Great job once again, thank you!!
Thanks for the kind words & for watching & commenting 🍻

Yes sir... i think i saw a bottle on PerfumePawn but his prices are a little bit proud 😊
Dzing! And Tea for Two are incredible.

Hi Ramsey
You really, really have to try L'Artisan skin on skin , it's beautiful iris sued and whiskey parfum. I think you will love it
Yes skin on skin is on my to sniff list for sure... has been for a while actually... maybe I will move it up the list 🤔😊

@@RamseytheRam mine is an old 60ml bottle 🙂👌

From your experience with Kouros Charles of the Ritz so far, how much would it be worth for one to splurge on 100ml of it if found?
