    A documentary that looks at one of the greatest supernatural events of the 20th Century. Our Lady of Fatima foretold the Miracle of the Sun 4 months prior, allowing atheists, academics and newspapers to be present for the October 13 miracle.

    The story is most certainly true . Even if how, who made the documentary was not thorough or accurate in the details. I'm a history buff myself and I catch programs that get the details wrong but the history is true. It can be annoying. Take the time to get it right if your going to do it at all.

      Well, tell us what’s wrong with the story, then, since you know the correct details.

    They were shepherds. But the pope aka shepherd ignored the command of Our Lady.

    We are not required to believe these things. We are required to believe in Jesus. I have concerns about apparitions that tell us to consecrate ourselves to anyone but Jesus. It’s seems contrary to the Mary of scripture who said ‘do whatever He tells you’. Jesus said ‘ my sheep know my voice and another they will not follow’. I’m undecided about the authenticity of these apparitions at Fatima. Also eternal hell fire isn’t in harmony with scripture. Gods love wouldn’t allow an eternal torment of those who disobey but rather their destruction. We can’t ignore our own scriptures. If this apparition was from heaven wouldn’t Jesus Mother know the scriptures?

    Who else has noticed that it was firstly stated that Our Lady was going to reveal who she was at around the six month?...the children did not know who she was...and yet...initially Jacinta spoke to her mother, referring to Our Lady? As soon as I hear a discrepancy, doubt creeps in. Jacinta was purported to have said "what a beautiful lady" in one breath and then "...Our Lady" in the next breath. It's this type of contradiction that can cause immediate doubt. Granted, I am only about 19 minutes in, but because I'm a details person, I will now listen in somewhat cautiously... Maybe, there's an explanation further into the documentary.

      the video mentions but does not dispell my various doubts about Fatima. One big omission is anything about the consecration of Russia. How do you consecrate somebody else? Suppose i say I have consecrated you to some African martyr for the faith. What effect does that have on you? Does it impose any obligation on you? How many billions or trillions of Rosaries are needed for the conversion of Russia? Taken as a whole, all the various messages and details were certainly not given to the children at Fatima. it's even stated that Lucia got lots and lots of messages and details later when she was in seclusion in Spain. And, jumping around to the third secret, did she really mean that there were "arrows" shot at the figure in white that is identified with the pope? It seems that Lucia realized that she had told such big lies that she needed to stay in seclusion most of her life. Fatima is not a part of the deposit of faith, nor is it the dogmatic teaching of the Church.

      @@ritobonitosome believe that Our Lady told and showed the children things and explained some but not all details on say, HOW to perform Proper Consecrations. They weren’t expected to understand everything. They were mostly messagers and told do just pray, and do sacrifices for sinners. They were sound as told. Catholics don’t have to believe in private Revelation but some of us do. I’m one of them. 🙋🏻‍♀️🙏🌟

    The name of the town and parish is a rendition of the Arabic given name Fátima (فاطمة Fāṭimah). According to the traditional narrative, Fátima was said to be the name of a Moorish princess kidnapped by a knight, Gonçalo Hermigues, and his companions. Hermigues took her to a small village in the Serra de Aire hills, in the recently established Kingdom of Portugal. Fatima fell in love with her kidnapper and decided to convert to Christianity to marry him. She was baptized and given the Christian name "Oureana".[4] However, the place name recalls the princess' original Arab name rather than her Christian one.
    According to legend, during the Christian Reconquest, the Templar knight Gonçalo Hermingues, also known as Bringer-of-Moors, fell in love with Fátima, a Moor captured in the course of an ambush. Reciprocating the love, the young woman converted to Christianity and adopted the name Oureana.
    Fatima meaning: Captivating; Shining one. Fatima is a feminine name of Arabic origin, meaning "captivating" and "shining one." This gorgeous name is a shining light in Muslim homes, with many parents naming their bundle of joy after the Prophet Muhammad's daughter.
    His daughter converted to Christianity and became a Christian.

      @Initial_Gain ...
      Thank you very much for your reply. I need such information. But I don't understand the last sentence. Do you mean that Fatima, prophet Mohammed's daughter, converted into Christianity? I need sources about that.
