Yes like when you pray to God before the football game for your team to win, so that god will let you win and not your sinful opponents? God sounds so intelligent and smart…just kidding. Lol!!!!!!
I recall when my mom had meningitis a special prayer request for her recovery was introduced to the shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes and I cannot exclude the possibility that we recovered her due to this gesture. But we seem to be a real pagan and ungrateful family. Could you pray for me and in fact die for us so that our conversion may be genuine? Do now.
Penance to "our" Cross !!! The "IMMANUAL" knows our pain, he see's sorrows (Matthew 11:28-30). "Lower lumbar, all of thee above & sciatic." My Lazarus moment = 6/18/2005, collapsed on the steps of Saint Patrick's Catholic Church. (significance) My sister's birthday is the 17th of March. My GOD-daughter tought me what true love really means. "We don't know where the wind comes from or where it goes"
20 years ago my Grandson was born with a heart condition. We were told he would need a heart transplant . His mother decided to have him baptized before his surgery. The priest asked us to place our hands over him,and asked for God’s healing. I went home got on my knees and begged God for healing. We had lost my husband a year earlier. We had a dry summer, so I asked for a sign of rain. The next day at Children’s Hospital in St.Louis,we were waiting for the latest test. It started storming, with heavy rain. My Son and his wife walked in where the family was waiting. His sweet Mother shouted “It’s a miracle “. The latest test showed he would just need minor surgery . He is 20 years old now , healthy and a joy . So YES I believe in miracles! Praise GOD!
Had a cousin who had cancer who went to Lourdes as a last resort in hope of a cure but unfortunately wasn't cured but she stated the experience made her accept her fate and in a way that was a type of miracle!
I agree! Acceptance is a miracle in and of itself. I suffer with a chronic illness and I admit I haven't fully accepted it myself. Perhaps I should make a pilgrimage to Lourdes or a similar holy spiritual place. It will probably make a huge difference in my life.
Finally! A story where main stream media is NOT spewing bigotry towards the Catholic church. That is truly a miracle. Thank you 60 minutes. The movie "Song of Bernadette" tells the story of this Marian apparition.
How else will the coming together of church and state be pushed in these last days unless the political mouth starts appearing like they are coming in line with the religious complex system that is pushing ecumenism?
Yes I didn’t watch it but read the comments instead because I thought it would be another bigoted propaganda piece against the Church. If it is honest and respectful that is different. With main stream media I have opted out for the most part.
My young son and I said the rosary. He had a scary diagnosis, and when we went for a checkup, multiple doctors ran out to speak to me. His condition was no more. A miracle.
I’m stage 4 breast and brain cancer. I’m 42. God has blessed me beyond words! I’ve been blessed with 4 miracles so far in a year and god and Mary continue to bless me every day. Without God and his disciples we have nothing. Without Mary our mother we have nothing. 🙏🏽✝️❤️
My 3 year old was diagnosed with Lennox Gastaut. He had 100 seizures a day. It was a nightmare for a year. Doctors said he would die or be left in a wheelchair with mental deficits. My aunt from Italy sent me holy water from Lourdes from when she visited. My son stopped having seizures at the age of 5. And is completely healthy now and ready to graduate high school. We also prayed to Padre PIO. So he was given a miracle. He is a miracle. 🙏
I swear watered from Lourdes helped me get sober and stay sober. I was a horrible alcoholic and it is absolutely a generational curse that runs through my mother and my father.. it killed my mom. Every time I would buy a rosary with water from lords in the centerpeice, the water would disappear within a week. So I stay stocked up from the Franciscan Ministries. I keep it in a spray bottle and I just pray a little bit every once in a while.... Believe it or not ...that's fine with me. But I believe it. Song of Bernadette was my favorite favorite movie when I 1st got sober... over 7 years now 💛💛💛 I'm also Catholic and I absolutely believe that Christ is present in the Eucharist and I've learned this week that more than 70% of Catholics don't believe that.... 😔 that makes me so sad. I know somebody's going to attack me in the comments and that's OK. I hope that you find peace in your life.
Please pray for my daughter Alicia that something similar happens to her. She left the Catholic Church, had herself "re-baptized" in a non-denominational and has mental health issues including substance abuse.
I’m not Catholic, I am Pentecostal , Spirit filled Christian woman. Your testimony is powerful. Keep on telling the world. The Lord works in and through us as we are each able to comprehend. He speaks to each of us in a different fashion and experiences. Each is precious when it is from Him. Praise God! From Whom all blessings flow.
No attacks. Faith is deeply personal and sharing your experience can benefit others. I am not Catholic but I believe thousands are healed at Lourdes and other places. Bless you and your journey of healing
This is so TRUE. My Dad a non believer,an a Hindu ,climbed the thousand steps to the top,of Notre Dame. His legs healed which were in pain climbing up. He only requested Mother help me to climb up. Then he was completely converted.. He even went to Lourdes after and brought us Holy water from there.. I myself had my legs healed in The Church of the Miraculous Medallion. Because I only asked for the pain in my legs. I had a tumor then, but I didn't ask for the full body. Prayers are powerful. Always pray for full Healing of Entire body. AMEN . Hallelujah Hallelujah
Thank you for your story. It reminded me of my friend's conversion. I have a Buddhist friend who is now Catholic. I asked her why she converted. She said that she had constant pain on her feet, and the doctors recommended surgery. While at mass with her Catholic husband, she read the bulletin and saw names of people being prayed for. She noticed that the names changed the following week. She assumed that they got better. During the next mass, she asked Jesus, "Who are you? Who are you?" Then she prayed to Jesus to heal her. And He did! And that was the start of her journey to Catholicism. Thanks, praise, and glory to God!
Your story is very interesting and im glad you both were healed, though I skeptical of course… 1.) “His legs healed” • Healed in what way? Were his legs injured? Because, from the rest of the story it appears his legs simply got fatigued from climbing and when they felt better at the top, it was assumed to be a miracle 2.) “I had a tumor back then but I didnt ask for the full body” • Granted I don’t know how your condition was, but why not just pray for the cancer to go away completely? That would remove the pain also. • Also, Cancer isn’t always painful, it depends on wheter it is pressing against a nerve. Hydrotherapy is used to reduce Cancer pain, so if you went into the spring, chances are the water did help, but it wasnt a miracle
@@kagakudoragon Firstly I think you are a non believer! For that there is no cure. However in case you haven't been to Notre Dame in Paris , to climb up the huge tower, there are *Thousand Steps* And each step is quite high ,for a 60 year old man ,that's pretty tough. So his legs started paining at some time as well as he started tiring . He prayed to Mother , regarding the pain in his legs ,and when he climbed down ,all his tiredness and pain was, gone. In my case ,I didn't know about my tumor ,I used to get severe pains in my stomach for months , despite taking sonography they couldn't see the tumor. Because I was young ,they didn't want to operate. Also compounding the problem, was the fact I use to fly for an Airline,so due to Standing up all the time, against gravity ,I started getting heaviness in my lower legs ,which used to pain. Now while kneeling and getting up , and kneeling, throughout the Church service. I asked Mother Mary to please take away the pain in my legs , because at that point only my legs were hurting from kneeling on the wooden table. And yes when we got up and out of the Church my leg pain was fully cured. But I haven't given the *FULL TESTIMONY* Prior to coming to this Church of the *Miraculous Medallion* I had a vision of Mother Mary, where she appeared to me in the form of Her Full Grace With her Arms outstretched. Towards me. She was crying when she then prophesied to me.. So upon Entering the Church and seeing the Stone statue in the Form of her Full Grace ,with Fairy light streaming from both her hands. I started feeling the pain of our Lady . I was crying throughout FULL chuch service. The other Miracle I had during the giving of the Eucharist,I won't mention here.. Especially not to non believers, Most especially it says on YOUR profile you want to annihilate the Pillars of Society. Be God of Robotics!!! The Dragon by every other name is Satan. Have a Wonderful Day. Hope you grow in your Faith..and come to believe in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medallion. Which now I wear around my neck.🙏🏻
My mother had epilepsy althroughout her childhood in the Philippines. In the 50s to 60s, they could only give you heavy barbiturates and there was (and still is I believe) no cure to epilepsy. So she suffered with this as a child. When she was 18, she went with her parents on a trip to Europe. One of the stops was in Lourdes, France. My grandparents were devout Catholics and at that point, the thinking was what is there to lose? My mom's epileptic attacks stopped after that visit to Lourdes. Maybe there's a scientific and medical explanation. Maybe her body healed itself. We will never know for sure. But to this day, my mother believes it was Lourdes that healed her. Amazing. She is 74 now and still a devout believer.
Wow! I hope you & your mom have a Merry Christmas. Even as a practising Catholic Christian, I'm very suspicious of these "miraculous sites", but it warms my heart to know that your mum is keeling the flame of faith alive and well after so many decades. God bless the entire family
@@isaiah3872 Awww thank you! What a beautiful message! Merry Christmas to you too! Yes, my mother is a very devout believer. More than I ever could be. Another example of a "miracle" was just this last year, both my parents came down with covid. They are both in their 70s. My father especially had underlying conditions. He came so close to not making it. I asked my mother if she was prepared for him to go and she said: I'm just praying and God will provide. Whatever outcome happens, it will be ok. God will be there for us. We will be at peace and find acceptance. It was honestly the most harrowing time of my life. We were able to get them in a hospital with very good doctors. After a month-long ordeal, they both made it through. Of course medical science is what cured them. But for me, the miracle was that we were able to get them in a hospital at all during a time when all the hospitals were full! I believe my mother's prayers made a difference. There was so much death at that time but for some reason, both my parents were spared. There's some things that you just can't explain and it's just a matter of fortune or luck or if one is a believer, God's grace and miracle. May you be blessed too!
Bill Whitaker did an excellent job with this show...he was kind, respectful and very empathetic towards these people. This was very uplifting and inspiring.
I saw on TV of a woman from Miami ,who was given months to live by her Oncologists. Her friend told her to travel to Lourdes . Against medical advice ,as MDs worried that she could die on the plane ,she went with her spouse ,who was also against it ,initially . She was completely healed and is now living as a normal human being ,which baffled her MDs as Science couldnt explain it.
Very nice journalism here. I would only add a theological question: "why would God intervene in some cases and not others." As a visitor to Lourdes, I believe that God has intervened in all the cases, not just 71. Like the handicapped gentleman said, all healings are not necessarily physical, but primarily spiritual - giving people an inexplicable peace and helping them to cope with their difficult life situations.
Fascinatingly, I went to a talk once by a professor discussing miracles who said that the rate of spontaneous cures at Lourdes is about the same as the rate of spontaneous cures in the general population. I had no idea there were spontaneous cures in the general population. And to be fair, I have never tried to verify the claim. But still, at first it seemed a letdown about Lourdes. Yet on reflection it's more of a lesson about God's mercy to all his children, not just those who make a pilgrimage seeking miracles.
Yes, 2Uahoj you phrase your thoughts very well. Yes, I agree. Faith plays such an important role in cases like these, and I'm not so sure the role of faith is discussed enough.
I agree. Many ”healings" are spiritual...as Joni Erickson once said, some healings come when we 'go home to HIM'. (PARAPHRASED obviously.). Some healings are psychological healings.
As a child in church, we would sing, Sometimes God answers "Yes" when we pray, sometimes God answers "Wait" when we pray... Sometimes God answers "No" just because he loves us so... But I know God always answers when we pray.
I've been to Lourdes twice in my life so far. Both times I went into the baths. In November of 2021 I came down with Covid very badly. To the point doctors wondered if I was going to make it, but I fully recovered. You don't need to be sick at the time you go into the baths at Lourdes. So I believe Our Lady of Lourdes and Our Lady of Good Help preserved me from death. For me, both times I liked going to the shrine late at night. Less people and you are almost alone before the image of Our Lady. It was almost close to mid-night when I got back to my hotel and the young hotel person stayed up until I got back. I thanked her profusely and headed to my room to go to sleep. It's a beautiful place and I participated in the candle-light procession at night. At 64 I am hoping sometime in the future to return just one more time.
As a person of faith, Bill you did a wonderful job in the presentation of this episode about the miracle of Lourdes. You were very respectful to everybody, and did not seek to mock any of the claims, which so many do, in a situation like this. I hope your own faith was strengthened learning about this.
I am not religious, but the Universe is far more mysterious and wondrous than we can comprehend. In 2015 my father went into the hospital, and suffered organ failure. We were calling relatives and friends to say their goodbyes. The hospital rabbi had been praying with us, and the priest offered to pray as well. We said sure, what can it hurt. Well, I kid you not, my father went from organ failure, literally dying, and he actually pulled out of it. He was alive for one more year after that. I don't know why this happened, but none of the doctors could explain it. So far as I am concerned, it was a miracle. And it wasn't just one faith involved. It was a blessing to have the extra time with him, and for him to be able to end life on his own terms.
@abigail You don’t have to be religious to know that God exist. Humble yourself and accept there’s higher power who created all things that is The Lord God Almighty. Who are we but dust.
What a beautiful story! And the various faiths involved too. It was all that collective faith and positive energy and good will bestowed on your father that made a difference. I personally dont think the specific religion matters but the belief and faith in God or that Higher Power. Im glad you had that extra time with your dad. Thanks for sharing. :)
When you acknowledge the universe, you acknowledge God, who created it. I am happy your father was given 1 year longer by the grace of God. The priest has a divine link to God, and I believe through his prayers, your father was given healing. A miracle. What a beautiful thing.
@@prezadent1 God doesn’t give diseases nor does he cause them. Hard to understand if you haven’t dove into Christian theology before. It’s a lot to take in and can’t be understood in one comments section conversation but Christians have good reason to trust God allows healing for some and not for others but that that either way, those can lead us to an everlasting life in Heaven.
@@prezadent1 We don't get to live our lives as humans in the Garden of Eden. Humanity got one chance at that, and blew it. So we are given challenges to deal with and puzzles to solve so we won't be spoiled brats who take everything for granted.
When training in medicine/surgery in USA, I saw several miracles, some of which could not be explained by science, while others perhaps resulted from our team's work. It was my practice to say a small prayer before doing a procedure on a patient. For example, one patient with pancreatic cancer was being evaluated for chemotherapy after surgical removal of the cancer mass (survival about 5%). After surgery, his family and friends would surround his ICU bed to pray daily. Lab results showed NOT a single cancerous cell in this patient, and he was discharged to home. My Catholic faith was reaffirmed each time I was fortunate to witness God's interventions firsthand.

I believe you, and I understand why the Church is this rigorous to accept an unexplicable cure as a miracle. I have my own miracle, not health related, a car coming at me so fast I stopped at a stop sign and did not proceed as normally anybody would, when I saw a car, a blur really, going so fast, in front of Me. I know my guardian angel saved me, I never told anybody, don't talk about it but I know.
I’m inspired by your story, but just because something can’t be explained by science doesn’t mean it’s right to immediately insert god as an explanation.
Our Lady of Lourdes did not heal my diagnosed crippling depression but She slowly healed my heart full of wounds due to past sins & traumas. Thus, helping me get through the darkness in my everyday life. Blessed Mother is my Mom too. Mother indeed knows Best!
I went to Lourdes to pray for my baby grandson to recover from his heart valve replacement operation and to give thanks he had recovered. 5 years later, I made the same pilgrimage but to Fatima, but again, to give thanks for his other heart valve replacement. Definitely both are uplifting holy places.
Beautiful and powerful story which continues for generations ! It’s also a miracle that 60 minutes took the time to do a documentary on this very Holy place. Thank you !
60 Minutes - this is perhaps your best program yet. A lot of info (and footage we don't often see), yet fair, balanced, non-judgemental, non-hysterical. That's what news report should be - let the viewer make up their own minds. Some will never believe, even if it's 70,000 miracles. Note that of the 70 miracles aproved, something ridiculous like 14,000 claims of cures have been lodged, but most don't "make it", not because they are not miracles, but because of the strict medical criteria used to filter it. Thank you again.
@@prezadent1 just like the Jews who didn’t believe Jesus cured the blind man. I went to Lourdes last year in September; for the very first time, I am Catholic, but I'll admit I don't have the faith that other Catholics do. Still, I'll tell you, when I stepped onto Lourdes, I felt something, but I could not explain. Some would say it was the awe of being in a place I had only ever seen in photos and movies, but my faith tells me otherwise.
Jesus Christ, is our intercessor before the Father, day and night. He suffered on the cross , He DIED ON THAT CROSS. DID YOUR SAINTS DIE ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS? No. Did your POPE DIE ON THAT CROSS? No. Only JESUS. ALL PRAISE BELONGS TO HIM. why do you GREIVE THE Holy Spirit by praying to anyone or anything else?
@stephaniepiazzese2602 Do you ask other Christians to pray for you when you are in need? The angels and Saints make intercession before God for us sinners. The Saints in heaven offer our prayers to God. God bless
I watched the Song of Bernadette as a child and the movie has stayed with me. I am 65 and have suffered from chronic back pain and been disabled from it for the past 13 years. I wish I could go to Lourdes and get healed.
I feel for you. I know about chronic pain too. I am 58. My chiropractor saved my ankle before I was going to get an ankle replacement .He's doing Lazer therapy now. , which he said won't help me. I have degenerative disc disease , osteoarthritis in right ankle , left knee and back and reflex sympathetic dystrophy and neuropathy. I broke my ankle in 1990 and was used as a Guinea pig on ankle. I don't know if the Lazer Therapy would help you. Many chiropractors are Lousy .I had enough cortisone shots and all those injections in my back too , so that's done for me. Reflexology helped with deep massage , chiropractor and acupressure. Paying out of pocket is not affordable for me anymore. It had me out of pain . I'm not trying to play doctor for you. I might try acupuncture. I tried it once , but needed a different doctor who cared. Take care and stay away from the jabs. You'll be in worse shape.
@@donnalawrence8593 What do you think about the shots is so bad? I would consider, but am afraid. My spine doc of 10 years, who I trust says they're an option if the pain gets difficult to tolerate which it sometimes does. May you be healed we pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, St. Michael the Archangel and the Holy Trinity, be a consolation and strength to all who are sick, suffering in all aspects of their lives. Amen. 🙏
@@spirituallysafe As the Queen of Spiritual Israel, the Catholic Church, the Blessed Virgin Mary is a powerdul intercessor who can obtain blessings and favours and all kinds of graces from her Son that He otherwise wouldn't be inclined to give us, just like the gebirah in the Davidic monarchy of Old Testament Israel. Also, the Bible itself is a product of the Catholic Church's religious tradition. The Bible isn't a magic book that fell down from heaven fully assembled. Jesus didn't leave us with a Bible, He left us with a Church. The Church existed before the Bible, and it was the Church that gave us the Bible. Where in the New Testament does Jesus tell His Apostles to write down some of the things He said and did and compile the writings into a book? Nowhere. And where in the New Testament does it tell us which books are scripture and which books belong in the Bible? Nowhere. It was the Catholic Church that decided the canon of the scripture at the councils of Rome, Hippo and Carthage in the late 300s. So why do you accept the Bible, which is a man made tradition of the Catholic Church, but reject the Church that gave it to you?
Praise God. I suffered with Rheumatoid Arthritis. On one of my pilgrimage my hands were very swollen. I could not lift anything. Some of my sisters on that pilgrimage prayed over my hands. The swelling disappeared up to a day like today.

Sister Bernadette Moriau absolutely deserved the miraculous healing. She dedicated her life to God and she never even asked for a healing but only asked for the healings to happen to others.

I watch the Lourdes live cam on Sunday mornings and at about 9:30 AM East Coast (USA) time (i think that would be abt 2:30PM Lourdes) there is an amazing young woman praying the rosary (with perhaps her mother). she may have Down's Syndrome. Let's pray his condition improves. I would love to go there but cannot. God bless you all. & ty 60 minutes for covering the place of miracles, of Mary and of God.
The magnificent beauty of the one, true, holy, and Catholic apostolic faith on full display. If our society even practiced an ounce of the level of faith displayed here, we’d be so much better off. Make Christ open all of our hearts, and may we love one another the way Christ has loved us.
Thank you so much for this MAGNIFICENT journalistic work on Lourdes!!!! The day I spent at the Sanctuary in Lourdes in France is indeed one of the happiest days of my entire life. Heaven on earth. Thanks be to God! I am very thankful that I was able to go to Lourdes last September, that alone was a miracle for me. I have never thought that I would be able, even to afford to go to Lourdes. It was the most beautiful thing that I have experienced. The procession was very touching. I plan to go back to Lourdes as a volunteer. God willing. Thanks be to God!
Not only are there miracles at Lourdes but often small favours are granted. After spending days at Paris Disneyland, my feet were very painful. At Lourdes I sat through Mass thinking about adding Lourdes water to a bath to soak my feet. I went down to the grotto and sat for awhile and then left and walked away. 10 metres I suddenly realised there was no pain at all. The pain did not return for that trip. Thank God and Our Lady for the little favours.

@@cindsvj1234 thank you for your kind comment. It's hard to understand why would God will my son to be unwell. We have been told that he loves us unconditionally, just as we love our children. I can't imagine not helping my children; I'd give my life without any hesitation to save my children. That's parental instinct. So many Ukrainian people pray and pray for the invasion to end and God is not helping them. In the 1930's there was a terrible, caused by the government famine and four million people had starved to death!! They prayed and prayed then too! During the WW2 six million people had died in the hands of German soldiers and then more were murdered by the Russia, and God must've seen how people were tortured by German doctors in concentration camps and again, God didn't come to their rescue.😭 Maybe, were overestimating God's ability to intervene? I always wonder how The Vatican Church can justify the riches they surround themselves with, the luxury they live in, the gambling ( investing on the stock market), aquiring properties around the world, whilst telling us to be poor. Everything they do is against Jesus's teachings. And the conduct of the Catholic priests who abuse children, makes one think, why don't they fear God? I still pray and pray, as repeating the prayer keeps me sane. God gave us an intelligent brain and free will, you'll most probably say and he doesn't want to interfere in our lives. Or, he doesn't exist? The Archbishop of Canterbury has said he often questions the existence of God. Thank you 🙏 ❤️

The movie "Song of Bernadette" tells the story of this Marian apparition.
How else will the coming together of church and state be pushed in these last days unless the political mouth starts appearing like they are coming in line with the religious complex system that is pushing ecumenism?
Yes, and it is a tear jerker!

Fantastic. God bless you.

I had a tumor then,but I didn't ask for the full body.
Your story is very interesting and im glad you both were healed, though I skeptical of course…
1.) “His legs healed”
• Healed in what way? Were his legs injured? Because, from the rest of the story it appears his legs simply got fatigued from climbing and when they felt better at the top, it was assumed to be a miracle
2.) “I had a tumor back then but I didnt ask for the full body”
• Granted I don’t know how your condition was, but why not just pray for the cancer to go away completely? That would remove the pain also.
• Also, Cancer isn’t always painful, it depends on wheter it is pressing against a nerve. Hydrotherapy is used to reduce Cancer pain, so if you went into the spring, chances are the water did help, but it wasnt a miracle
@@kagakudoragon Firstly I think you are a non believer!
For that there is no cure.
However in case you haven't been to Notre Dame in Paris , to climb up the huge tower, there are *Thousand Steps*
And each step is quite high ,for a 60 year old man ,that's pretty tough.
But I haven't given the *FULL TESTIMONY*
Prior to coming to this Church of the
*Miraculous Medallion*
I had a vision of Mother Mary, where she appeared to me in the form of Her Full Grace
With her Arms outstretched.

I like how the guy said that the huge change in his attitude was in itself a miracle.
@@jamesirwin8917 Faith is trusting in the outcome, even when it isn't what was asked for in prayer and supplication.
The journalism demonstrated here is so refreshing. It was respectful, unbiased, open-minded, but thorough, and rich. Thank you!
I am not religious, but the Universe
is far more mysterious and wondrous than we can comprehend.
Yes it is God (YHVH) who is wonderful, not the "universe". God created the universe by his power and might.
@abigail You don’t have to be religious to know that God exist. Humble yourself and accept there’s higher power who created all things that is The Lord God Almighty. Who are we but dust.
@@robinjoseph4949YES Amen to that!

Yeah, keep promoting the mythology and give dozens or hundreds of people false hopes.

Thank you 60 Minutes for excellent coverage of this topic. I'm praising God for miracles, His Mercy endures forever!
I cried out to Jesus and he instantly physically healed me. It's about belief, gritty faith, and submitting to His perfect Will.
Do you know of any amputee that can make such a claim?
@@moonshoes11 You will wait a log time for a reply.
@@prezadent1
Lol.
@@moonshoes11 No, but I know for sure there are amputees in Heaven because they have placed their faith and trust in Jesus Christ.
What SD said is a personal experience. Sometimes even though you have belief and gritty faith, it does not mean you will get what you want. By submitting to His perfect will, from God you will get what is necessary for your salvation.
@@prezadent1 obviously don’t know who Nick Vujicic is then 😅
Sister Bernadette Moriau absolutely deserved the miraculous healing. She dedicated her life to God and she never even asked for a healing but only asked for the healings to happen to others.
Thank you 60 min for covering this!! People receive miracles everyday!! Most miracles are not as dramatic as Sister’s, but they are happening if you know how to look🥰❤️🔥🙏🏼
I watch the Lourdes live cam on Sunday mornings and at about 9:30 AM East Coast (USA) time (i think that would be abt 2:30PM Lourdes) there is an amazing young woman praying the rosary (with perhaps her mother). she may have Down's Syndrome. But i've watched the rosary at that hour for years as she is so inspiring.
Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us
Amen!
Good reporting. Shows how the Church does not take claims of miracles or apparitions lightly.
Father Yah is my Shepherd, Healer and Redeemer! HalleluYah 🙌🏽
Jamie Jenson got me to my heart... God bless him with a miracle. That he acknowledged the heart changing is exceptionally beautiful. As Christ said... the heart is important to coming to God.
Great
God is great
God is good
And leaves us signs of his greatness and goodness
The Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes is one such.
Alleluia! Amen 🙏 Mama Mary please 🙏 pray and intercede heal and full recovery for those who are sick, especially my Mother-in law, Clarita!
Thank you so much for including this genre of program. I think it's important to show the world that it's okay to have faith nowadays
Thank you so much for this MAGNIFICENT journalistic work on Lourdes!!!! The day I spent at the Sanctuary in Lourdes in France is indeed one of the happiest days of my entire life. Heaven on earth. Saint Bernadette Soubirous' accounts on the aparitions are beyond fascinating. We truly have a loving Mother in Heaven. Mary, the Mother of Jesus is our Mother who brings us closer to Him.
Our blessed mother is always calling us!!
Blessed are you amongst women!! And Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus!
I was healed by Our Lord Jesus of Nazareth thru dreams. and my migraine headache since I was in my elemetary years was to tally healed when I told HIm Please Forgive me... He brought down HIS Cross and came over to me and touch my head down to my eyes and down to my neck... that was more decades ago and since then No more headache... All praise , All Honor and thanksgiving belong to God alone.
I’m a believer and I have been there with my Sis. It is a very serene place and miracles do happen if you believe.
It is full of tacky plastic Jesus and Mary statues 😢 All we need is Jesus the Saviour.
Hi would you say 3 days are enough to go to Lourdes? I have a choice to go for 3 days or 1 week? What do you suggest? Please let me know. Thanks.
300 doctors and 10 years later is a long time to declare that our God still heals. Thank you Abba Father for healing Sister Bernadette.
Divine Mother healed my chronic back pain without going to Lourdes. Open your heart and ask her to come inside. She's waiting for us to heal ourselves and then the world.
❤❤❤
The Eucharist once cured me of back pain.
Encouraging and spirit lifting!
We thank the Lord for these good blessings...we love You! 🙏💞
A very special place, went out of my way to visit Lourdes in 2016, Hard to explain using words but everyone who goes to Lourdes leaves better than they arrived be it in mind, body, soul, or spirit.
Hi do you know if 3 days are enough to visit Lourdes or is a week better? Please let me know your opinion. Thanks.
@@anaalfaro8054 Hi Ana 3 days is plenty of time to visit Bernadette house, tour the Castle, obviously visit the Grotto every day / night. View the main church,, Attend the international Mass in the enormous underground church. If you have a car i would strongly recommend on day 2 you drive to the Pyrenees less than an hour away breathtaking views and you can see the highest waterfall in Europe, you will easily be back for the candlelight evening procession, and all the restaurants are open late so no problems there either.
@@pap130 Thank you so much for the information 🙏
Thanks for sharing, I had my share of miracles from Lourdes. Our Lord shows his mercy to those who believe through our beloved Mother! Praise the Lord!
I went to Lourdes and I received my healing from God many years ago. Thank you, Jesus! Ave Maria!
I'm so happy for you!!
I wonder, if God is everywhere, why do we have to go there to get a healing? It's so strange. ♥️🤗
I had a miracle with the help of Our Lady of Lourdes
May the Grace of Jesu Christe and love of our blessed virgin be with us always
Praise God 🙏 for healing sr. Bernadette ❤

I’ve been to Lourdes once some years ago and would like to go back again. Been praying the rosary every day or almost following the rosary at Lourdes since the pandemic. I had a lung nodule that was found in 2020. I had a yearly CT and last January 2023 it is gone. Thank you Mother Mary our Lady of Lourdes. 🙏🙏
I cried after I watched this. It touched me to my core.
I visited Mary's pilgrimage in Lesotho, Southern Africa. I have been healed from chronic disease, emotionally and physically. Received thousand blessings and achieved things I never knew I would in my life. Forever grateful to Mary and God's interference in my life.

Stay true to the Catholic faith.
I would love to visit there someday. I'm not a practicing Catholic anymore, but you know what they say, once a Catholic, always a Catholic. I chose Bernadette as my confirmation name many decades ago, because I found her story so fascinating.
And Medjugore, Conyers Georgia and Garabandal, Spain

Ask St. Bernadette to pray for you. You don't have to ask for anything specific, just one friend to another.
@@pattiday431 It's funny, because I was a big "Hail Mary" person and spoke with God often, but, my life never improved, it just got worse and worse - so, sadly, I just stopped. I also was big on prayers to St. Jude. But, strangely, it never occurred to me to pray to St. Bernadette.
I’ve been to Lourdes on a month long backpacking trip. It is a beautiful place. The water tastes like a sweet fruit juice. I remember I couldn’t stop drinking. I always order water from there and have some in the house.
I believe in miracle and the power of pray when you do it with all of your heart and surrender to God...my brother just healed from gall operation that almost no hope to survive on december 23th here in west Timor, Indonesia. But miracle happen and yesterday he had awake and told us what he saw in the operation room...thank you Lord....God is great, God is good
Thank you for reporting so respectfully, God bless you and your family.
Thanks for airing this episode. This provided enough information to contact the Medical Bureau for a medical miracle from over 50 years ago that my family attributes to Holy Water from Lourdes.
God is the most amazing being that could ever exist. I can't put it into words because there are no words good enough to describe it. The love I feel is something that needs to be felt by everyone. Be the best you can be. Never harm ANYTHING or ANYONE. God is amazing.
To those that cannot go in person, they live stream beautiful masses everyday ❤

Thank you LORD🙏 Thank you Mama Mary for my healing🙏🙏🙏 God is good all the time🙏🙏🙏
Praise be to God for healing sister Bernedette and all of those who have sought His Love and Healing.
Like the Shroud of Turin, an absolute absurd amount of scrutiny is placed on each case, they pass, and yet people still deny. Woe to you who have seen the face of Christ and rejected him.
The Shroud of Turin has been scientifically proven to be a medieval fake.
Magnifique! I always felt that this sort of news should be on the front page.
When i was young i prayed for a old lady named betseys hands to heal. Rheumatoid arthritis she had about 5% function from elbow to fingertip. I wanted to pray for not alone but with my church. So at 3 i took the microphone and stage and led about 40 of us in prayer. The next day she was knitting again. She made me a blanket and mom a purse. Miracles cant always be proven but i have seen them.
Wow!! I've been praying for the healing of my son for 22 years now and altogether he is even worse now.
I've prayed so much, aloud for seven hours nonstop, on my knees on hard floor and God doesn't want to know us. 😢
@@E-Kat Don’t give up! Your prayers are not being ignored and God is so very near, even though it feels like He has abandoned you. Remember Job in the bible, and his wondering why God allowed such suffering. But God’s ways are not ours. It must be so hard especially if you’ve been waiting years. So many saints waited and prayed for years too. So don’t give up. Your trust and perseverance will be rewarded, even if it’s not in the way you expected. I will pray for you and your son too. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
@@E-Kat pray to God to grant you the grace to accept His will in your life and your son's. Will pray for you. 🙏
During the WW2 six million people had died in the hands of German soldiers and then more were murdered by the Russia, and God must've seen how people were tortured by German doctors in concentration camps and again, God didn't come to their rescue.😭
Maybe, were overestimating God's ability to intervene?
Thank you 🙏 ❤️
@@boomct8569 thank you so much for your prayers, that's so uplifting to read your message.
I'm so tired now and to be truthful, I can't see myself continuing this life like that.
It's hard to find a reason to want to be here tomorrow.
There's nothing but illness all around me and I'm unwell too.
The only hope is a miracle from God, but why would God choose my son and me, when He can't help the people suffering or being killed in ongoing wars or people who had died in wars all over the world.
God is very intriguing and hard to understand.
Wishing you all the best.
