Marc, when playing coins, you should cash your winning coins and play your bucket. That way you know how much you actually won. Then convert the winnings to bills and put in your gamblers box!
That's how my session on double top dollar went at Winstar Marc. $100 in, 2 line hits @$1.25, no TD, bust. Should of set a lower limit to bail. Thanks for the great content and advice.
I was just in Vegas, and Circus Circus has put most or all of their coin machines over into the Slots A Fun building. There were coin versions of Top Dollar and many other 3 reel games.
We will be in Jackpot this weekend! I am glad you were able to play alittle bit at 93 with coins! Small Town Drama…😭🎰😭 Someone had to show you who was in charge.
Last coin game was in Reno. Small casino next to the biggest little city sign. It was 2007 and I was playing max bet nickels on Jackpot Party, nine coins per spin.
Hi Marc & Dave. You guys never hide the fact that you are recording. It's not like you are hiding it. It's not like you are working with George Clooney and Brad Pit... LOL. Love your video's Thanks!
Hmm, 3.5 hour drive for me. I can cross S+ Top Dollar off my list! Awesome Video! I cannot believe they don't allow filming. It's FREE ADVERTISING for the casino. I would have never considered going until I found out they have old Top Dollars there. I wish gaming commission would step in and force casinos allow it (for slot/virtualtables) providing you do not show other peoples faces like you said.
Last I saw anything that took or paid coins was $.25 video poker about 20 years ago at Royal River in Flandreau, SD. Stacks of tubs around everywhere for folks to gather winnings. Pretty cool.
Do higher bets have a higher chance of hitting bonuses? If I did 10$ vs a 3$ bet, is there a difference, and would it be better to put 300$ into 1 slot and play it out or 50$ into 6 slots?
Never raise your bet to better your odds, it's a trap. Technically, the payback % return to player might be higher, but it's not large enough for you to notice any change in the short term. Always play where you are most comfortable with playing ($ wise)
First ones I played were coin drop at the Golden Gate and California Las Vegas. I would have kept playing it, just because may never see again. Did you ever get TOP DOLLAR. ? I remember playing a couple that just did not get TOP DOLLAR.
I was just wondering I was playing a lightning cash and got the Major for $990 betting only 25c a spin, if I had been betting $2.50 and hit the button at the EXACT same time would I have won the Grand which was currently $9900 odd? Or would I have still only landed the Major? Thanks!
It’s a little complicated of an answer. The odds of hitting the major and grand on lightning cash are better the higher your overall bet is. Basically, the closer your bet is to the major and grand the better odds you have (but still difficult). In your scenario, if you were to have hit the button at the exact same time, you would still only got the major. But, if it was the other way around, the lower bet may not have hit it since there are less “majors” for the RNG to pick from. Hope that makes sense!
@@GambleSmart the pinball and top dollar in the high limit room right there in the middle didn’t do too well, but the Lightning Link autumn moon did me pretty well. If I known you guys were gonna be there I would’ve stayed lol good luck to you guys and God bless.
Lost mine as well , I’ll never take the time to go since the guy acted like that …..it’s 2024 for goodness sake …some casinos cater to the free exposure , management at this casino are way behind the times ….The Plaza CEO in Vegas just woke up to the power of social media
Could hear the coins (I remember that sound) but would have liked to have seen the coins 😩 .. enjoy the coins while you can soon to be a thing of the past
That’s the thing, we had permission the last time we were there last year. We asked the floor manager at the time and he said it was ok. We told this guy about that and he said it’s always been their policy - no recording. So not sure.
I have a comp question. Got free concerts tickets to Clay Walker. Is it necessary to play or can I just go to concert without feeling bad? I feel I need to play some but holding out till next month.
FIRST COMMENT? = PRIZE?!!! PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏??!! 🙂🙂🙂😁😁😁!!! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!! AWESOME VIDEOS!!! LIKE, SUBSCRIBED, COMMENTED. ANYTHING WOULD BE GREAT! TYTYTY!
I have know idea what makes Casino's tick. No you shouldn't be filming anyone unless they say they dont mind and also keeping the camera down on carpet is good but ive seen BJ Slots and Vegas Matt and people walk into their filming all the time they dont so it on purpose. This Casino needs to come into this era.
Don’t you guys ask for permission to film ahead of time? Also, some casinos will give you a letter stating you are authorized to film. Just curious how you make the process work for you.
@@herbertdaugherty636 We had permission in the past and the rest of the staff was inviting and knew we were filming but this guy comes out of no where and says no. So we stopped.
@@GambleSmart I’m asking in general terms. I have seen other channels who had permission and approval letters get shut down by overzealous security or casino employees.
I was enjoying this. Too bad they made you stop video. Sometime, could you, when playing with real coins, play the entire $100 and leave the winnings, if any, in the machine so we can see how much you actually get back. You always say people win more than they think and it would be fun to see. I think it would be easiest to see on coin machines. Thank you.
I was in Jackpot earlier this year. I was so excited to find and play all the actual coin machines!
Nice win Marc on getting all of the bonuses. Keep spinning and winning.
I remember coin slots years ago
Last time play coins was last time in Jackpot Nv. 2010. Great video thanks guys
I just got back from Jackpot 2 days ago. Had a blast!
Top dollar reels sound like the wind is blowing! Great video!🎉🎉🎉❤❤
Dave, it's fun to see what was going on with you while Marc was doing his video.
Marc, when playing coins, you should cash your winning coins and play your bucket. That way you know how much you actually won. Then convert the winnings to bills and put in your gamblers box!
The problem was, a lot of the coins weren't registering and falling straight through. But, you are right - good idea.
Love the sound of the tokens falling!
Using tokens would definitely slow play down….really miss these machines. 🙁
Thanks for the vid guys!

Yeah, it seemed like it :(
So many offers...unbelievable
Sorry to hear you ran into someone on a power trip. Looked like a nice, local, laid back place with some fun slots. Onward to the next one!

Aahhh. Power Trip Security Guard. At least you made money Marc.
I got Top Dollar in the first and only spin 😊 I cashed out right away 😁
Last time I played a coin slot was 1997, so fun to watch!!!
That Top Dollar throws out those bonuses offers FAST!
It did!
Very cool, I miss the physical part of slot play and walking around with my bucket lol.
The good old days
i love the coin slots
check us out at slots a fun for the g2e meetup Oct 7th
@@GambleSmart Can't make it. I have to work that day

I was never old enough to "legally" enjoy the coin slots, (Quarters) but they sure were fun to hit and run at gas stations
Crazy there are still S+ machines out in the wild!
Yup, still some out there. They can’t take tickets or players cards!
I hit the 1k credits on that exact machineyou were playing!!. And on the top dollar premium right next to them. Hit both a month apart
Wow nice!!
Hi guys, fun vid. Last coin machine I played was last September while on vacation in Central City, Colorado. Was .25 cent. Too bad you got cut off.
WINNER! Thats some sound. I never played a coin game.
Last time , I played a coin slot machine was 1981 Sands Las Vegas , LOL!!!!

@@GambleSmart if I am ever able to get to Vegas I'll definitely check it out!

Oh man, Dave.
I played this in Laughlin nv at the old Puoneer casino about 15 years ago
You didn't have that problem last year ❤
I know, we told him that.
I don't travel up that way much but it's off mine too
Its coming Dave.

When the machine wasn't accepting the coins, do you get them back or are you out the money?
They fall straight through to the tray.
I was just at cactus Pete’s last night
How did you do? What games did you play?

We got our butt kicked on that $5 top dollar. We both tried $200 and lost.
At least 20 years ago
How does RNG work on these classic slot machines?
Exactly the same
I really don’t understand casinos that don’t allow filming. It’s free advertising for them!
Do you get less comps on less volatile machines?
No, it’s all about coin in amounts. How much you are wagering.
@@GambleSmart my coin-in is a lot on video poker but my comps suck . Should I stop playing video poker and only play slots?
VP generates very few comps because the house edge is low. Slots have the biggest house edge so the comps are more. Do not play for comps.

Sorry :( I should have tilted the camera down
Thought you had permission to film last time. Kinda a bummer to have security ho on a power trip. Guess that casino doesnt like money.
We did and we expressed that. He didn’t want to hear it :(
Dave you're dropping 3 coins in a 2 coin machine. I would have called a tech.
they kept falling out the bottom, every other coin would not register

Videoing machine does nothing so why are folks worried about filming. Most people film secretly anyway. I see that all the time at my casino
