    Oh and by the way, for a 3 layer fondant covered Genoise cake, your cake stands tall and beautiful 😍

      Thank you very much again!! If this Minecraft cake design does not have the extra green thick fondant layer on top of the white fondant, the cake would look even straighter. This extra green thick fondant is quite heavy, and put extra weight on top of the cake. But it also shows other people, if they can accept this look, then genoise sponge can be used, if they think the cake need to look a lot straighter (for example wedding cake), then have to choose some other types of cake.

      @@IrmasCakeTutorials Fair enough. But then I am the kind of person who finds beauty in slight imperfections 💕 . Perfect is boring :D

      @@zaafirarafa6633 Lol😂😂😂And there is no perfect cake as well 😂😂 I found that a lot ppl care what cake it is , more than wanting the cake to be perfectly straight. (Except wedding cake)

    Hi. Have you used only fondant for all the toppers without adding sugar paste or tylose powder to it so it dries and hardens up on drying?

    • @IrmasCakeTutorials
      @IrmasCakeTutorials  3 года назад +1

      Toppers - Usually I use 50% fondant & 50% gum paste (fondant + tylose powder, or store bought gum paste), if it is a humid hot weather country, and have the issues of drying, please use 100% Gum paste

      What I mean above is referring the cake topper, like the Minecraft Steve, Alex....if it is the cupcake toppers, most of the time, I just use fondant, however, I found that if I put the decorated cupcakes into some of cake box (cardboard box with clear plastic window), sometimes the toppers goes soft and become wet. Because it does not have enough air to pass through the box. If you have the same issue, please also use 50:50 fondant & gum paste or 100% gum paste if you live in a hot humid country

      @@IrmasCakeTutorials i have the exact same problem. And yes I live in a very hot and humid country and the fondant either never dry completely even in winters exposed to air drying or sweat alot in case of packaging even in milder weather. Thank you for clarifying it ever so honestly. God Bless You !

      @@IrmasCakeTutorials just one more question please. Do you use gumpaste/tylose in the fondant that covers the whole cake or just for the toppers??

      I didn’t measure the exact amount, but I estimate it is around 3-4 pounds for everything
