Yes! Live your life! As a mom of 4 young children, I'm all for this. When you have the resources and availability to explore before you have a family DO IT! I literally just had a conversation about this with my 9year old daughter and I told her when she's older to make sure she does all the things that are in her heart BEFORE starting a family. I love this for you. Wishing you the absolute best!

The only country I’ve been to is Germany when I was at school and I can agree it’s a wonderful place. Im 24, and still travelling the world - not sure where it’s going to take me, but it’s about living in the now! im not ready to buy a house yet or settle down! When that inner voice tells you something that you can only understand, it's best to follow it. You do you have a loose plan in place and when the timing is right for you, take that leap of faith!

I can see the excitement in your eyes. So happy for you!
I'm in Texas and Austin is one of my favorite cities and such a great location to do things and history. You have San Antonio in one direction, Fredericksburg (wine country) in the other with Houston only 4 hours east. and you're going at a perfect time. March is the perfect temperature, nice and mild. Still "wintery" ( for texas at least which is about 60 f ) in the morning and maybe 70-75 in the afternoon and it drops back again. Tiktok has great places and hidden gems to check out as well. Can't wait to see your traveling adventures!

I’m super happy for you! I’m also based in Australia in Sydney, and I’ve worked in UK, Canada, Hong Kong and Australia! It’s fun to live an international lifestyle and I would recommend anyone to do it! All the best! ❤🎉
I was 33 when I went on my round the world trip, and it was the best decision ever! Travel never disappoints, if anything happens, it just becomes an experience. Can't tell you how many times during the last 3 years I thanked myself for doing that adventure.
Question, can you talk through the multiple plans you have / had? I actually have to move out of my country but I can't pick where to go, so interested in how others process that kind of moving ideas

Oh that’s the best story. I’m so glad you did that and it was amazing. I hope this will be like for me too
To give you a rough idea of each plan
A. Keep apartment and go home for Aus summer, travel a little and then see if I could get another visa. (didn’t want to risk coming back after summer and having to rush out because I couldn’t get another visa so it was no to that one)
B. End my lease and move out. Go home for a bit and travel. Apply for another visa and come back in the Canada summer. (This one is basically the plan, but it may change if I end up somewhere else, this option gives me a bit of a safety net with timing and not ending up here illegally and it’ll save me money too not have to pay for rent)
C. End lease, go home, travel, move to a new city (may happen 🤷🏼♀️ I have no idea where I’ll end up)
D. End lease and go home
I’m sure there were more options when I did it and I think they were just variations of B with different countries I planned to visit in between but this is the main points and some of my reasoning 😊 hope that helps

This is so crazy relatable. I moved to Australia (from Las Vegas) just a few months ago and things didn’t really go as planned. Now I’m back home for some calm holidays but I am dying to get back out to living abroad and I don’t want to do anyyything that means committing to staying in one place 😅 It’s so weird to be in a chapter with so much uncertainty of what the next few years will hold but I am trying my best to embrace it!! London is amazing at Christmas time it's really cold and busy if you have time take a walk across tower bridge inside tower bridge walking is amazing it's amazing to be above the traffic and look down on it
