The fact that she was Lin Kuei implies that she’s far more formidable than she seems at first glance. And also she probably has the same distinction and honor as Baraka when she was in the clan (Baraka was said to have been a tribune in Sindel’s army before living his life and settling down as a merchant). And yeah, this Lin Kuei isn’t an assassin clan like in the previous timelines. Now if Madam Bo is an assassin, that’d be scary. Way more intimidating than Bi Han, tbh

Not to mention MK has ALWAYS had goofy stuff. Liu Kang dropping an arcade cabinet on someone for a fatality, Johnny's triple uppercut decap fatality,the awful quan chi Neck stretch, Bo Rai Cho in general... If you don't like lighthearted stuff and just wanna be a doom and gloom edgelord, Go try Killer instinct or something. That one oughta be RIGHT up your alley. Also it clearly WASN'T a life or death fight if you paid any attention at all, It was just a test for Kung Lao and Raiden to see if they were ready to help defend earthrealm. Plus it can help ease the tension to make things less uncomfortable. So if anything, Your take is hotter than a flaming bag of dog crap...Which it might as well also be.
The funniest thing is that they made smokes first appearance menacing when in reality he’s probably one of the nicest dudes on the roster lmao 😂
