Strange Mysteries might've saved my life back in the day of regular videos. Diving deeper and questioning existence really challenged my perspective on life, opened my mind up, and helped me find new meaning in the terrible situation and depression I was in. I explored consciousness, existentialism, the multiverse, string theory, higher dimensions, the metaphysical, and have lately been exploring quantum immortality. That's all cause of you my man. I got out of my situation and am far out of my depression now but keep it up brother. This channel continuing would be an amazing Christmas gift.
Great video. There are locations in the universe that, as you know, are voids, where a type 3 civilization could be “swallowing up” galaxies. The Bootes Void comes to mind.
Yea, I miss this channel a lot as well. A good one who fills the void SM left for me is Atlantean Gardens / Robert Sephyr, a lot of far fetched stuff but a lot of gold too imo
It's like when Rick creates an alternate universe and used it as a battery for his space ship. They they too found a way to create a universe which they used as a battery and so on lol.
This channel despite irregular uploads has probably the most loving comment section that genuinely cares about the owner and truly loves the channel. Hope you're doing well @strangemysteries always happy seeing a new video from you
There is likely a cook book for creating a universe which science will one day discover if given enough time. But creating a new universe will affect the present universe.
There must've been 3d time though to start at some point because cause and effect works in loops, every event effects every other so the only way that's possible is if all events merge into one at the pole of a 3d time ball (it's just a visualisation exercise) so that may have something to do with the creation event? Thoughts guys?
More fairy tales by atheist physicists. The Function Category proves the Universe & everything within it are Functions ... and there are made & made to function by an intelligence. The Function Category is bound by the Laws of Physics and applies only to things that belong to our Universe. All Functions process inputs into outputs, can be abstract or concrete, require information in order to exist & to function, and have a specific purpose, role, task, or rules to follow. All Functions are UNNATURALLY made & made to function by an intelligence. A machine is a physical function that requires specific matter, energy, space & time and information in order to exist & to function. But a machine can also be a mathematical equation, algorithm, or computer code. Man can UNNATURALLY make a machine that makes a machine but the human body is composed entire of Functions. Nature & natural processes over any period of time can never make a simple mechanical machine like a wheel, lever, hammer, nail, screw, driver... nor make it function. Energy, matter, time & space, and the Laws of Physics are all Functions. The Theory of Universal Functions ... explains everything because the Universe & everything within it are Functions. The Universe is a closed system expanding in an open system that has unnatural laws & an intelligence.
I love to see the story of Dr. Wudi. He observed timelapse of all Universes. He holds a very different view. He has an unusual Theory of Everything. He is a scientist, biotechnologist and physician. He has been observing in silence since 2017. If you make a video about him, I think it would be a truly fascinating story.
I'm hoping eventually if we go far enough into this loop, there'll just be a lab-universe. Nothing exists outside of the lab, and the original universe is just a lab. And sitting at his desk and feet on the table is God, smirking and watching his creation.
Or time/space really is cyclical and the universe that created our universe was actually created by the universe that was created by the universe that we eventually create, thus explaining why they would need to create us in the first place, in order to protect their own existence.
I just randomly decided to see if this channel did anything recently and what do ya know..... Merry Christmas. Lol. But damn man, start making content again!!!
I've always wondered this question. Such a hard concept to even begin to grasp. What was there before the big bang ? Nothing ? But even the very concept of nothing is something. So where did this nothing come from ?
Exactly! The closest thing we have to that concept on a day to day level is the idea of consciousness. Was their nothing before the atoms and molecules coalesced to form our brain to produce consciousness? Because everything else as in the matter has been apart of the universe from the start it just took 14ish billion years for it to become your brain. So where was this consciousness, is it just a reaction. like the birth of our sun. A star at some point became the first ever star in existence and before it there was no such thing....but what there was, was the physical laws allowing for the potential of a star to exist. So was consciousness always apart of the universe or did it only spark into the universe when the right amount of circumstances happened? consciousness has always been a potential from the very first moment, something that could have been predicted because the laws that govern the birth of a star also govern the existence of a conscious mind...The blueprint has always been their so is potential something not nothing. When a piece of art is only in the neurons of its creator is that thought something...the materials are their the laws allowing for its existence...but its only concept at that point. Does that though inside the artists mind hold any tangible value?
- The Universe is everything, everywhere, ever. This includes the past, the present, and the future. Space is like a 3D slice. - The brain processes electrons from the nerve system and reconstructs these 3D slices. We experience differences as time passing by. - Mathematical laws cannot-not exist. These laws form an infinite complex fractal that is conscious in brain structures: the Universe. - The Now always comes from the immediate future. The entire Universe comes from the infinite future.
A great video. A few thoughts come to mind. First, if advanced Type 3 civilizations exist and are swallowing up galaxies, perhaps that’s what’s happening in the Bootes Void. Second, if our universe is the offspring of a prior parent universe (and an ancestor civilization with hopes of creating “offspring” that can create other universes), than I think we could expect to see intelligent life, at different stages of evolution, all throughout our universe. That’s because many civilizations would, undoubtedly, die out before they were capable of creating their own baby universes.
My best guess is this universe is a computer program. We are just the newest edition of life after being bored with the life that came before us. Dinosaurs was cool for a little while but now they can run better programs. Humans will be around until the next program comes along.
Even mathematically, I believe there is only 2 optotions here, either the universe is endless (it started "some spacetime before" and it will never end to expand) or it is endless loop (like a pulse), but biggest question is if we will ever even know it..
Quite thought-provoking. When everything unravels, there will be new meaning to everything , and there may be a lot of unlearning. Oh, what will Physics's syllabus look like in 300 year's time ?
Kinda a dumb theory. If aliens created our universe then wouldn’t that imply the aliens are still in our universe? Like yes they moved the space and matter but they still didn’t create that. It came from somewhere else. Unless we are in a Bose stein brain or another type of simulator it doesn’t make sense. Basically what I’m saying a universe inside another universe are still shared.
I would, but recording voiceovers is trickier than it seems. You need somewhere super quiet and non-echoy. I live in a loud city at the moment, so it's a little difficult to accomplish. Furthermore, I end up being too hypercritical about my voiceover and spending too much time trying to get it just right in post. I've thought about doing it more and more, but my main goal now is to just keep videos coming....and the other aspects of doing that (research, organization, thought, understanding some kinda complex topics, editing the video...etc...) which right now are much more important for the goal of getting videos out & are also much more of the rate limiting factors in terms of video publishing. Basically, I can do it, but it will take away from other parts of me jumpstarting the channel again as well as keeping it going. I've realized I can paralyze myself by feeling overwhelmed and thus end up just not getting anything done. But maybe in the future; not sure.
@@StrangeMysteries holy cats. Merry Christmas to me. I listen to your videos every night when going to bed. Getting an actual direct response to my first comment? Doesn’t get better. Your narrations were always the best. But as a busy person with incredible anxiety, I definitely get it. Thanks for all the great content. Really happy to see you at it again.
It's a big question...... and i don't think we will ever solve. Instead we should focus on keeping this planet nice and safe for everyone to have a great life while we can. :)
I was so into this channel but I rewatched some older episodes recently and figured out that I outgrew this channel a while ago. All this channel did was doing baby steps into the right direction but why would I ever want to sit in a class full of first graders? Why did Nokia as a company die?

I think if you could observe all of existence at once it wouldn't be moving but give the illusion of movement.
There is an answer out there. The question is, will we destroy ourselves in the quest to find it?

where does the lab start and end?
nope.
some people have too much time to think.
The universe looks huge in the eyes of tiny humans but the universe is tiny in the eyes of whoever created it.
That was kinda beautiful......
So we might be in a marble universe like in Men In Black.
So if there's a creator of the universe, where did their universe come from? You're just kicking the can down the road.
