I'm confused about this exotic.
Is an extra shot the same as an extra volley? And what actually is that? Does it mean you fire 3 arrows twice, or 4 arrows once instead of 3?
Because when I use it I get 3 arrows once; no second go, no additional arrows.
And the super energy runs down, not up.
I've watched videos and tried using it as described, both with Deadfall and MQ and with full builds, but I'm not getting it to procc. What am I missing?

Normally you can cast it, and then while you still have energy you cast again to shoot another volley. (2 volleys of 3 arrows)
With orpheus, you can cast it a third time (3 volleys of 3 arrows)

you just need orpheus rig. outside of that try and focus resil I guess

Actually some weapons are much better super energy generators through damage, like Le Monarque, Ticcus, Wishender, Quicksilver Storm, Osteo, and fast firing legendary weapons with kinetic tremors
