Question. Does shooting Red Bar ads give you more damage applied to bosses and elite targets? Because we do much higher damage to Red bars per shot VS bosses and elites. So would 50% of the damage done to Red bars, shared to other types, be higher damage than just directly shooting bosses/elites? Example being; you shoot a red bar for 28k in the head and 14k is shared to any boss/elite tethered VS shooting boss/elite directly for just like 10k? Or is that not a thing?

Those are the best builds to watch. I still click on every Liars Handshake build I see dispite it being one of the earliest builds made with arc 3.0
Yeah this is the sad thing about D2 "build crafting." There really aren't many unique or unknown builds. Vesper this season was a pleasant surprise and I did find the stasis dance machines mactics posted pretty fun/unique, but builds are so generic compared to other games that have so many more choices.
Thanks for giving this more attention! This has been one of my favorite builds to run with teams (as a non-hunter main) as it fuels more super usage, which in turn helps ammo preservation and makes more effective use of time when plowing through swarms.
The reason Wish-Ender generates more super is due to the super changes a few seasons ago. You get your main super by doing Damage, the more you do; the bigger chunks. Because Wish-Ender hits VERY hard, you naturally get a chunk of super, but because of it's 'overpenetration' it hits 3x, meaning 3x the chunks.

Its also one of the few Bows that lets you ADS when hopping around
wish ender had an unintended interaction with shadowshot causing it to give way to much super, Bungie has fixed this exploit with season 22. "Fixed an issue where the Wish-Ender bow in combination with abilities like Shadowshot was able to generate significantly more Super energy per shot than intended."

Double ashes to assets. Tether a large group, wait till super gets to 50% or close, toss grenade in the middle of it all, and you'll be close to a full super in seconds.

Been running a similar build on my hunter (I’m a warlock main) and when I’d find a Phoenix protocol warlock those are the smoothest GMs I’ve ever done
Thanks for the build, I remember when I first started D2 I was using Orpheus Rig so much and it was my preferred way to play before I took my break during Forsaken. Nice to see a build that will bring it out of my vault again

it was so good that it was almost kinda pointless to run anything besides O-rigs, you were making so many orbs that your team could just chain supers

I was amazed last week when i tried the same build for the first time, on the disgraced gm i had 2 supers in around 10sec, and the third one shortly after.

@Mactics. Bolstering detonation & momentum transfer are both disabled along with impact induction & focusing strike . . .is there a work-a-round/alternative??
Ive ran this build, in the beginning it was good. It was goof for shuro chi farm too. But as i got end game i got squishy. And shifted to gyrfalcons and omnioculous, radiant dance machines.
This build made me sub!

And interesting thing to test is. Does the damage share the dmg to bosses unscaled ? Seems pretty ludicrous if you were able to get say a bunch of thralls next to a boss and shoot a rocket at the pack and deal like a million times the damage (sorta reminds me of bore lol)

Oh man... you should have seen how broken those were in year one. In the leviathan calus encounter I was able to get 6 to 10 tethers shot off covering the floor in orbs of light. Those boots used to be so broken using deadfall
Even with the disabled mods, I was able to run a GM Nightfall as a 1822 Hunter with some stress but not like before. Having a good team did hurt either!

The reason wish ender gives that much super energy is because you're technically hitting the same target 3 times so you're getting super energy for each tick.
I’m glad you made this update cuz this disabled some mods that boost grenade/melee energy on grenade kills.

Already used this build for weeks but your explanation is better and more awesome.
This shouldn’t be permanent but some of the mods are disabled at the moment, the notable ones are momentum transfer and bolstering detonation so the build still works fine but it is currently not are its full potential
Just a quick question is there an exotic armor piece that would be an ok substitute?
What about an ad clear wave frame or kinetic with enhanced thresh?

Deadfall orphious hunter is one of, if not the best thing to bring into GMs. Especially the battlegrounds ones.
Got a brace/destabilize smg from guardian games that I'm going to run with this
i recently shot 5 super in under 6 second in neomuna strike force it's insanely good i run this build for some dps since you can get it back pretty fast aswell ofc the arc hunter build stays on top for ad clear
You can still get it back with shadowshot pretty fast. It uses volatile to link targets instead of the anchors.
I use the 4 fragments of Reprisal, Starvation, Instability, and Expulsion.
How are you using this build with momentum transfer and bolstering detonation? Those have been disabled now over a week
Wish I could figure out how to get ursa banner shield back that fast

It would be great if you could perfect this build for Suro Chi, and do a guide on how to level up each type of weapons in the most efficient way. For example for primary ammo use this mods, for special amo use double special and this omods, for heavy use double special and this other mods, etc.

I am myself trying to create a build for each weapon type for Suro Chi, but I am sure Mac could do the definitive guide with all the mod set ups.

Thanks for another dope build but huge problem 2 of the mods for the arms are disabled momentum transfer and bolstering detonation what to do bungie has disabled several mods
The 90 mobility, 100 res, 40 disc and 90 int stat distribution is so hard to obtain, this requires your gear to have almost no wasted stats and/or artifice slot. The helmet & class item only has 2 free energy slots after the mods.
I would love to see your gear stats on this.

Hey @Mactics, I'm on my way to putting this build together and for some reason my gauntlet mods Momentum Transfer and Bolstering Detonation are grayed out and I can't equip them. Would you happen to have any idea as to why that might be?

Question, would graviton lance be an appropriate substitute? I know you said you didn't have to use the 2 suggestions but you said as long as it doesn't interfere. Thoughts anyone?
Yes, use it with a void machine gun, you’ll have devour and constant invisibility, and when you pick up a tangle or void orb you’ll get devour, void abilities weaken and make enemies volatile, you’ll get more heavy ammo so more machine gun damage with super. Use either deadfall or shadowshot it makes a minimal difference
Power creep at its best
You gain super on damage dealt, wish ender hits multiple times per shot, so a lot more super energy
Please make a build with easy gotten exotic pieces for new players

I T H I N K what's happening with Wishender's extra super energy has something to do with how the exit wounds are coded.

Looks good, but with the fab four of gauntlet mods as of 7/29/2023 being nerfed...I mean "disabled", what are you slotting in to continue running this build? Appreciate any insight provided.
Probably just double up on Firepower I guess.

Great build but it’s hard to get double or triple high tier with rng roll the way it is and mods taking up a lot of slot space.
Hopefully Nezarec's Sin gets a similar build. It got hit harder than Orpheus.
9:08 I'm pretty sure that this happens because most of the super gains are based on dealing damage and since wish ender deals A LOT of damage and in 3 instances of damage per shot(1 from de arrow entering and 2 when exiting) the game gives you an insane amount of super based on that
They'll probably eventually call it a bug and fix it
It's been in that game for a while now tho, like I'm not entirely sure but I think it's been in the game before witchqueen could be wrong tho

i have this build, and i love it, but is good in end game? like boss damage and stuff? one of my friends said this build was like meh, bc its more for "clear" and we all know build about clear is like a meme in destiny ahha
