That was nice! Very well produced: lots of steady tripod shots, relaxed narration, lots of good information! I've never kayaked there, so it was especially interesting. Those fishing strikes were exciting! I presume you were not eating fish. -Thanks!
I kind of feel like it was an odd decision to keep fishing when you realized you didn't have the proper tackle. Especially since it seems like you weren't fishing for food.
Michael Foster Pike fishing was a primary reason for going there. I just checked my journal and I landed over 60 fish, lost ten to broken lines. Another angler ended up giving me some wire leader in McCargoe cove.

Thank you! If I go back I will be keeping and eating fish. I'll also bring a lightweight canoe instead. Wonderful place.
My right ear loved this.
I recorded in stereo, not sure what happened!
Probably an iffy export setting in your editing program, what you using?
Premier Elements 14, it sounded fine during editing.
Check the audio tab on the export settings. Might be set to mono, sadly I only really know Premier Cs6.
thank you for this video. would of loved to see more footage of the end as well as more kayaking. really enjoyed the vid and hope you make more!
I listened with my left ear and it blew my mind. More Minong please.
Well done Mike!
nice video i met you at Birch Island and Macargo cove just after I caught a lake trout
Really relaxing and enjoyable - although the audio levels were nerfed - you should adjust them in editing.
That's a snowshoe rabbit. Beavers only eat the bark of the trees. Great video. I did well on Chickenbone for walleyes. Thanks.
It's dat boi!
great video, good to meet you there. did you ever end up catching any trout?
I caught one small lake trout. The people around me were catching dozens.
epic trip
