Excellent informative film thank you for making this. What a shame there is no longer a swimming pool in Kings heath and only the front of the Kings Way Cinema remains 😢 Though definitely the church is beautiful and the church Square developments are something to be proud of. Txx
@@mariamisakji7234 It's different yes. The heyday of the High Street has long gone but at least we experienced it and I'm positive about the future. Have a great New Year.
The death of Kings Heath happend sometime in the 2000's probably with the exit of McDonald's which was used as a general meeting point alot of people from the day care centres used this as a routine meet up during the day. Online shopping killed the rest of it along with sky Hugh rents. Kings Heath hey day was the 90's one could spend a few hours in international stock order a bike for their child's Christmas from Halfords and pick up the latest technology in the form of a Sony super trinitron TV from Dixons or gadgets from Tandy and even book their holiday at co-op travel

Thank you for your comment Tracey. The cinema was wonderful in its heyday. Places are so precious. x
You missed the old Safeway store that used to be opposite Sainsburys (now a mix of shops & a gym)
@@moseleygirl3262 I missed out loads of stuff as I only had 15 mins. Yeah the Safeway opposite Sainsbury's - remember it well. 😁
I remember the old cinema. Saw Disney's Bambi & Snow White there when I was a child.
they need to add more parking in KH and relook at the LTZ as this is one of the reasons i no longer go to KH
I miss all the old shops, everything good has disappeared 😢😢😢
