Oh, sorry, I realise now you're referring specifically to Instagram Live Producer. Unfortunately that lag is definitely Instagram's problem and as far as I know they've not been able to fix it. If you want to avoid all lag, you can still go live via a phone. But if you want to use Live Producer, I kind of recommend building some visual queues into your presentation so the minute you actually see your first scene in Instagram Live producer preview, you know you're good to start. And again, have some sort of end screen sequence so you know when it's safe to finish streaming. This really isn't a problem with other video destinations. Hopefully Instagram can be fix it eventually.
I downloaded the Aitum Vertical plugin but I'm having trouble installing it. My mac says it's from an unknown developer and it won't install because they can't guarantee it doesn't have malware =\
I must admit I'm not a Mac user, but perhaps this article from Apple on Opening a Mac app from an unidentified developer might be useful: support.apple.com/en-au/guide/mac-help/mh40616/mac
is there a way to reduce the latency problem
What kind of latency issues are you experiencing?
