I actually set the 2 of mine up over a couple of the $2-3 dollar silver-Crome Mylar space blankets/survival blankets. Only to reflect any sunlight that’s in the couple feet infront of the panels that would be hitting the ground to reflect that light back up. Also it gets so hot in Louisiana. To keep the panels cooler to run the best they can. I connect a battery operated water misting thing to the top an bottom. It’s a long stretch of about 10 misters along the top than down an around the bottom. With the misting heads directed to spray over the panels. With it by remote any time it seems they may lag from heat. The misting system can be turned on by remote I leave by the solar generator an will click it on for 10-20 minutes. An the mist is so fine it basically evaporates sook as it touches the panels. Being the most is to like string around an umbrella shade that people would sit around under. To cool people since it’s so fine of mist without everyone getting wet. So they get an evaporative cooling here an there if there being beat by the sun pretty bad. Just to lower the temp of the cells to keep producing the best possible.
This is soooo cool!! I'm looking to possibly get panels for camping. Jeremiah what portable electric tire pump do you recommend? I'm looking for my ebike. Thanks!!😉
Allpowers has a 200W folding panel that is polycrystalline, often on sale for about $220. Pushes almost identical watts to the Bluetti 200W panel, but may not be as sturdy and long lasting. I have both types, did not want to spend the money for another Bluetti, and the Allpowers has been great.
I haven’t tried the 200w panel but I have the 400w panel and it works great with some of my larger power stations but I did have a problem with the first one I got.
The angle of the panel (perpendicularity to the sun rays) is significant to power yield. Your comparison test doesn't have the panels at the same angle, so this will affect the results!!
I’ve had a bad experience with this panel. After initially getting 195W consistently, the performance dropped to 145w in the same exact conditions. After going back and forth with support who tried to claim 145w was “normal” which is simply incorrect, they accepted my old panels for a “replacement”. After testing the replacement in the exact same conditions, it doesn’t go above 151w. I’m now skeptical if the item was replaced. I’ve asked for a refund so we’ll see if Bluetti supports the customer here. Thanks for the video btw. Very informative and helpful.
The introduction is very detailed, very high-quality channel
Thank you!
Got a PV200 this week from Bluetti for $350.
Sweet!
Thank you for all this demonstrated information on solar panels! 😀👍

Is the bluetti panel waterproof?
Sad to see that the PV200 is only water resistant, not water proof.
Awesome video bro. Can you test ITHEHIL 200watt Solar Panel and Also EENOUR 200watt Solar Panel? Thank you and keep it up your great videos.
Thank You for the suggestion. Possibly in the future.
Does bluetti foldable solar panel work if only half open inside car dashboard?
This one will still produce power because it is wired in parallel but obviously the output will be greatly reduced.
This is actually one of the most expensive 200W solar panels that I have ever seen. A power station costs a lot cheaper than this.
But it does have pretty good output and many people need a solar panel to recharge their power stations.
Look for discounts. The panel was just on sale on amazon yesterday for a flash sale
I just got mine for 240 bucks for Black Friday.
@@maxsanchez8058 where’d you find that deal
