Wow I was like 4 or 5 when I first played this, can't believe my parents didn't say anything! But seeing this brought back a lot of memories, the gameplay holds up really well to this day, love the fighting and gun mechanics. Deserves a remaster I say!
I really don't think the gameplay holds up well. The controls are weird as hell, handling is weird, shooting is weird, can't really reliably do things like arrest people or even shoot them. Maybe I'll get the hang of it but it's really disappointing so far. Trying to play it on Xbox 360 with backwards compatibility for OG Xbox.... it's stuttery as hell

This was great at the time. Love the action movie vibe and voice cast
I remember the last boss. I lost so many times I got mad. I was like 4 or 5 at the time. I ended up spamming the move where he flips the guy on his back, but barely had any health left. Then I messed with cheat codes after that. Played the game so much I pretty much completely remember the intro, and a lot of the main game as well.

WOW this game is really awful. It hasn’t aged well at all. I played it a few months ago and the gameplay was terrible, bad controls, bad combat, bad shooting, bad driving. The graphics look incomplete. The Getaway was so much better and it came out a year earlier. This is definitely the worst of the GTA clones that were so popular at the time.
It sucks we never got a proper remake of the getaway
