There is just something about the E39. It's a timeless car. When I see one, like yours, in such a great condition I immediately want one. It just looks like a serious piece of engineering compared to the cars that are currently sold as new. Hat down. Keep up the good work.
You have picked really nice place for this video! There aren't many that nice E39-s around anymore, you have really had a lot of work to make it that good looking.
Man this is unbelievably cool! What a prime example of a mint e39 too. I love the electric conversion!!!! I own multiple BMW's one of which is my e39 528i....she's my baby and seems to get the most attention lol. I acutally have an idea for electric brakes, and I was gonna base it off my e39 because I have enough e39 parts laying around to build an entire hub assembly and fabricate the brakes from there. I've built small working models of the concepts and physics behind the idea. I also beleive it could be used as an electric clutch mechanism as well. Anyway, I really like what your doing here and I look forward to seeing how far this evloves over time! 🤘
This is absolutely great. Now once the combustion engines go extinct (well maybe not hydrogen) i could still have an option to have an e39 converted and there would be no need to buy the new plastic crap pseudo sci-fi poor excuses of cars. I will defiinitely think about this. Thank you for a great video. You had my curiosity and now you have my subscription.
Tnx 🙂, car doesn't have CAN bus, it is early model. I just remove the gas motor and everything else is working. No Christmas tree 🙂, only when you connect diagnostic you see a lot of errors that have deal with engine
What about the suspension, do you know the weight change and weight distribution change? Did you address it somehow? Did you notice any changes in the handling of the car, how it is cornering and alike?

Wow.. i think you have to make an DIY kit or manual for e39....
I would want 1.. greetz
Awesome job! What's the total investment in the electrification rebuilt?
Thank you , it was arround 21000 eu total with car, buying parts at very good prices and extra 1000 hour work
super clean car !
tnx :)
Are you in the plan to take requests of those who want to have their car converted or is this a personal project of yours?
this is mine, if you have demand , we can make a deal

*Hello, can I have more video of the trip on the city streets, but how does the sound of the electric motor*
I will be making one
Wow it's amazing that you get 200 km oh DC motor for such a heavy car. What did you do with the ECU ? Are you reading BMW can messages?

Weigh distribution is 50:50. It is slightly heavier , you can feel it. Handling in corners is ok . But is not race car.
Awesome content
I am trying to do a very similar build. Anyway I could pay to have a consultation with you for some advice and questions I have?
