We are so lucky to have this information come through. I'm sure Judge Troward would love the fact that he could teach to the individual in the future... right in the comfort of their own home. Beautifully narrated and demonstrates understanding. Thank you. X

TRUTH: "The Word of the Spirit is always based on the idea of Becoming. The word of the smaller personality is always based on the idea of possessing. If we base our speaking of the Word on the Promise of Spirit, we may be sure that we are on the right track."

Robert, this is very nice reading work. I appreciate your efforts a lot! Troward's spiritual philosophy is very sophisticated, combining the best of the Hermetic-Kabbalistic tradition with a fundamentally Christian orientation which saves it from the mere power-grabbing of some strands of New Thought. However, Troward himself was into other things like Anglo-Israelism, which I find highly implausible. His metaphysical formulations are among the best available, along with Ernest Holmes's, whom he influenced greatly. Gaze was attempting to update and summarize Troward's works, which are old-fashioned and unwieldy for many people to try to get a handle on. Now I think we need a further update for the 2010's! Troward's turn-of-the-20th-century diction doesn't bother me personally; I find it charming and intelligible. But in the age of tweets, something has to be done to translate it into 140-character segments! lol

"But in the age of tweets, something has to be done to translate it into 140-character segments!" when the individual knows there is treasure to be realized s/he will make the personal investment to realize it. i have found that trowards writing is not unwieldy because of the language -though it seems so on first pass. it is unwieldy because it is not something to consume on one pass. subsequent passes are all that is necessary for incorporation. upon subsequent passes it would be found that trowards treatment of the subject in general is more complete than anyone else's. i only wish he had time to get more specific in his teaching.
btw on the subject of anglo-israelism, he was right about the significance of political developments in turkey in 1921 - written in 1916.

The land of ancient Egypt/Khem people lived by the harmonious principles of Ma'at. And, they knew the cosmic cycles as well as the spiritual sciences

+Robert Ready I do enjoy the narration, yes. I was married for many years to a radio announcer who also narrated books for the blind which are now in the Library of Congress, so I do appreciate a truly excellent voice, good delivery and professional quality sound. Your recordings feature all three, which is particularly wonderful because this recording is available for free. Just had to comment about the mispronunciation, which is actually very common.
