My buddy had a 66 that color. 427 425 HP. Hurst comp shifter teak wheel, white interior, black vinyl. Chevy put 3 engines in it for him. He hardly ever drove it but boy did he go through engines. I loved that car.
Love this car. Back in 1975 i had a 1968 Chevy Impala SS 327. It had a 4 speed manual factory transmission with a Hurst shifter, 327 with a Holley 4 bbl and bucket seats. Metallic blue with a black vinyl roof fastback. Hi jackers on the back and slotted mags all around. It was big, it was heavy and it was fast. The speedo went up to 120 and I had it buried quite often. I loved that car. A Pioneer am/fm cassette stereo and room for everyone. Like Lou said, those were different times.
One day I'll be able to own one of those that was a beautiful car everything I love about that car I mean I wish that inside was black but other than that that's my dream car
I owned one similar one back in the day .Same colour. I wrote a song about it which is on RUclips. Just type in the following; 67 Chevy/ Dan and The Noshows.. Hope you enjoy.
Was this car equipped with power front disc brakes or were there drums all around. Waiting to see if the engine is a 396 or a 427. I noticed the air conditioning vents. My questions have been answered. 4 speed Hydramatic wasn't offered in 67. 3 Speed Hydramatic was offered with the big blocks as well as 4 on the floor. I had a book that listed the prices of Chevys and their optional equipment. This car probably had a bottom line MSRP of about $4250 back in the day.
Man, if my dad was still alive he would have loved it. He was a Chevy Impala man. Rest in peace dad.
What year was your dad's impala?
This is my dream car. The '67 Impala screams stud. Let us know when you get another one!

This car is so awesome. How has Chevrolet let the Impala brand fall so badly? Modern day Impalas are bland sedans, not desirable muscle cars.
NICE CAR !!!
They don't make it like that anymore
