Managed to get myself this jacket after watching your review! I usually sit between a M and L, and ended up going for the L which is perfect! Really enjoy your content! Thanks again!
I've got a ton of Endura kit, I've always found it to be superb value. Not always the cheapest but not the dearest either, but it always works and it always lasts well. My fave bit of Endura kit is the onesie. It's the cheaper one but THAT'S what you need for a Scottish winter. Absolute genius it is!
@@streetpigeonmtb my only worry is I might look a bit special wearing it, but I'm warm and dry so I don't care! Excellent vid, my favourite bit was the 'casually answering the phone while that dude films me' bit. Superb.
Got the Endura singletrack jacket which has been great, all of my shorts are endura too! Recently got the humvee waterproof shorts, much better than a full waterproof trouser
Nice man. It is defo waterproof season. I am riding tomorrow. I actually bought the cheaper Endura onesie. I'm quite looking forward to getting it back on. Makes you feel like a man-toddler 🤣
I do like the Endura gear and have plenty, being Scottish I dont know many tall and slim folk, but lanky and skinny l know plenty 😂 does what it says on the tin review👊excellent. Hope you get to keep the jacket too.
Whoop whoop! That's been my biggest achievement of 2021 🤣 I need to play with the lighting a little more but I feel like it is better than my previous kitchen studio 🎙 🤙
Hi. Can you give me any information about the weight and the size when it's packed. I'm looking for a jacket, that can easily be stored in my backpack or better in a hip back.
Of the top of my head the L comes in at around 400g. So it's light, but not featherweight. It'll defo pack neatly in a rucksack. I think you'd get it in a hip pack but it would be a squeeze for sure. Hope that helps!
Hi Dark Badger. The hood does not fit over a crash hat. If you are after a big hood I know the Fox Ranger jacket has one that will even fit over a full-face helmet 👍
Jacket looks good 👍 I've got Endura Humvee trousers and the mt gloves, been really happy with both. Odd question, but is it easy enough to access the pockets/zips with gloves on?
To be fair, that is a good question! I feel like it is. Each zip has a tag on the end that sticks out further. If I was being hyper critical I'd say that maybe the tags could be longer, but then you'd just have bits flapping about 👍
Just ordered one of these but something you said in review worried me a wee bit , are they quite slim fitting ? I’m no massive but do have a bit of a gut on me, I’ve gone with X-Large so hope it’s ok
Hi. Can you give some insight about comfortable air temperatures to use this jacket? Will it be to warm to use in summer's (15-20 celsius) rainy days? I'm looking for a jacket that I can use on my bike tours and not strictly MTB.
Hey mate. That's a good question. Out of all the waterproof jackets I've had this is one of the cooler ones. For me though, the most comfortable temp is probably 10 to 15 degrees celsius. I find this to be the norm for any waterproof jacket. Hope that helps.
@@streetpigeonmtb yeah it's pretty good, my first proper MTB jacket so I've nothing to really compare it to.. Nice and warm though and the rain proofing is cool.
I haven't ridden in waterproof trousers up until this point but do have the Hummvee onesie which I wear when the weather gets crazy. I just took delivery of some Hummvee and MT500 waterproof trousers. I'm afraid I haven't ridden in them yet though so can't feedback at the moment 👍

Ah brilliant. That's so good to hear that you are enjoying the product and the videos. Thanks for taking time to comment 👍

I have that onesie mate! Bought it last year. It is excellent 👌

🤣🤣🤣 Yeah. There was some proper cringe stuff being filmed bud. The onesie does look a bit mental but I still love it 😀 🤙
Very interesting review ! Good job and nice to see 👍😀 Thank you for sharing 😃
No problem at all. Thanks for the positive comment 👌
Only today i added this jacket to my christmas wishlist, this came out at the perfect time.
Ah brilliant. It's a really nice piece of kit mate. I think you'll enjoy it 👍 What colour did you go for?
@@streetpigeonmtb Coaco. Could do with a bit of colour in my mtb wardrobe 😅
That should look sweet mate 👍

Great, well produced video. Subbed 👍
Thanks Dave 👍
Nice review Jamie, I would consider getting one on the back of your review if it wasn't for the fact I already have 2 waterproof MTB jackets.
Cheers mate. I don't blame you for having two waterproof jackets in Scotland! 🤣

Ha ha. Yeah, I thought lanky might confuse the US audiences 🤣 I can think of another... A streak of p...🙈
Sounds good mate... I'm in the market for some winter-proofing!
Is that winter-proofing or Scotland-proofing? 🤣
@@streetpigeonmtb Is that not the same thing? 😂😂
It must be 😁🤣
Love the new man cave setup!

That's fantastic mate. Great vid looks a cool jacket 👌👍
Thanks mate. It was fun to try a different type of vid! 👍
can you compare it to Endura Singletrack softshel II ? (also grey) they look quite similar
Hey mate. I'm afraid I've not seen/tried that one so I wouldn't be able to say anything grounded on experience. Sorry bud 👍
Hi….. humvee or fox 2.5 jacket…out of the 2 which one would you recommend out of the shortlist please ?
Endura probably. Fox stuff looks good but I don't think it is that well made 👍
Does the hood fit over a crash hat?
Hi Dark Badger. The hood does not fit over a crash hat. If you are after a big hood I know the Fox Ranger jacket has one that will even fit over a full-face helmet 👍
Hi; does the hood cover a helmet?
Not on this. It does on the MT500 jacket 👍
Jacket looks good 👍

n1ce Video !
can i ask you how tall are you, and what Size do you wear ?
Hi mate. I'm 187cm (6ft2) and in the video I'm actually in a small. I have since got a medium which I believe is a better fit 👍
Just ordered one of these but something you said in review worried me a wee bit , are they quite slim fitting ? I’m no massive but do have a bit of a gut on me, I’ve gone with X-Large so hope it’s ok
I think you'll be fine. My issue is that I'm 6ft 3 so it can be challenging to get clothes to work 👍
sounds ‘really good’
Yeah. I need to improve my vocabulary a bit eh? 🤣
Hi, what riding trouser are you wearing in this review? Thanks
Hey mate. That's the Endura Singletrack II. Best budget trouser I've ridden in 👍
@@streetpigeonmtb ah great! Thanks 🤙🏻
No problem at all 👍
Did you try the hood, as it must fit over the helmet.
Hey Zaax. The hood doesn't fit over the helmet 👍

@@streetpigeonmtb thank you. That is very helpful. I might get one. :)
If you have more money to spend the MT500 is an incredible jacket. My all time favourite piece of mtb gear 😁
@@streetpigeonmtb thank you. Unfortunately MT500 is out of my budget range :(
Fair play mate. They are not cheap!
Any thoughts on how durable it would be... I am prone to crashing ha!
It's difficult to say. It feels tough, although if it's supreme toughness I have the MT500 waterproof as well. That seems noticeably tough!
@@streetpigeonmtb thanks
Nae bother 👍
Bought this one. In 4xl
Are you liking it?
