Barry ostensibly did the same when Robin sang I Started a Joke but he actually drew attention to himself and away from Robin because he's turned his back to the audience which performers never do as a rule. You don't think of Robin during Barry's major solo because he's not there to distract you. Invariably someone or many someones point out how respectful Barry is of Robin's solo while he is doing the exact opposite of what is inconspicuous. I don't necessarily say he does it purposely but he does do it.

I find it hard to listen to Barry singing The End of the Rainbow as he wrote that when Robin was in hospital and although he said it's also for Maurice and Andy I have a feeling the lyrics were more about his and Robin's relationship.
Oh it's definitely worth a listen. Some great songs and if you weep over "Sydney" or the line "And my brother Maurice was staying alive" it's the kind of crying that is almost pleasurable.
