I was only in Kindergarten when this came out. My parents had their double -disc greatest hits CD playing in our Honda Pilot constantly. It just stuck with me… even to this day!!
Phenomenal! From a small hometown 3 brothers doing petty crime to world fame discovering their natural genius for music. Their music is both reminiscent and transcends time. They are so engaging, fun and interesting; I just love watching them together and hearing their stories... they tasted the nectar of fame but were unspoilt by it. So rare! I hope Maurice & Robin are happy to know how loved they are and Andy too. And Barry... you will see them again one day... but for now, keep singing, keep shining; we’re not letting you go just yet. ♥️
If someone had slipped this to the program manager at any "Modern Alternative" type radio station without the name of the group on it, they would have gone nuts for it. I was into "new wave" "alternative rock" type music in the 80's and 90's but always loved the BeeGees because I never felt like they sounded like anything else and were never confined by what was expected of them and this song is the perfect culmination of a glorious career.
i was thinking the same thing..in fact with a lot of Bee Gees songs if a radio programmer would sneak in one of their hits on a top 40 radio station without saying who it is it would be HUGE
So true. I can only imagine how many radio programmers in ‘01 had this single cross their desk and just discarded it without even a listen because it said “The Bee Gees” on the cover. Their loss… The first time I heard it it gave me goosebumps.
At one point the BeeGees had to submit songs without their name because the stations wouldn't play any of their music. Needless to say,the songs became hits.
So true @jamesgriffiths, Robert Stigwood did that with New York Mining disaster and everyone thought it was the Beatles, and he did it with Jive Talking, he gave them out with no band name on it. Especially with the radio stations gone sour on disco music, they refused to play any BG's music. Such a loss.
Who can't not love the Bee Gees? They have tracks from everyone (60, 70, 80, 90, 2000). When i was a child my parents had the dvd One Night Only; every sunday on lunch time they played the dvd. Our favorite songs at the time are Massachusetts, Island In The Stream, I Started a Joke, Closer Than Close, the list goes on. Whenever this dvd was playing was a signal that our family's day on sunday is gonna be ok. I'm 23 years old right now, i know that I'm not born around Night Fever Soundtrack, but c'mon the Bee Gees have much catalog of songs that people may think. Theirs last record is my favorite, love you Barry. Robin, Maurice and Andy are still with you, keep rocking man. Love from Brasil :)

Robin’s solo makes my heart beat a little faster. God what a loss to all of us. Does anyone else turn into a puddle of goo when Robin sings “But I’ll go anywhere, yes I’ll go anywhere with you”? ♥️
This song is one of my most favorite secret weapons as a dj because it is so good & not many people know about it at all. Heck, I didn’t even know about it until a couple of years ago... I’ll never forget the first time I heard it either. I was driving thru Nevada by myself & had to pee desperately. My only option was a kinda scary looking casino (that was absolutely haunted, lol). But while I was in the restroom this song started playing & I just loved it so much! I literately had to pee as fast as possible & totally fumble for my phone, but luckily I was able to Shazam it in time. When I finally saw it was actually The Bee Gees I audibly said, “whaaaaat?!” 🤣 And then the bathroom stall doors started moving on their own, so I freaking RAN out of that creepy casino. This song is definitely one of the best jackpots I’ve ever won & this video is even more of a gift! Seeing them all happy & silly like this is so heartwarming, I just love it! In Brothers Gibb we will always trust!
That's something I always enjoyed doing to people when DJ'ing in Second Life, too -- pulling out some lesser-known tracks, B-sides, or tracks from a previous or later point in an artist's career than the one most people are familiar with, and getting that "What is *that??* " reaction. 🙂 This one rarely fails to have at least one person going "Wait -- this is *those guys?!* When did they do *this??* "
DreamWolfPics why hasn't alot of their songs, which were and still are great, ever done good, I think it's just that now, with a combination of us older people who have known about them and the newer generations who are just now finding out about them, that people are just now starting to realize just how good they really were.
This is the Bee Gees most interesting song, in my opinion. These guys were great. And funny in this video. Maurice is like a comedic actor, and they're all interesting to watch. Rest In Peace Robin, Maurice, and Andy. Admiration to Barry.

The vastness of their music has so much to offer than just their disco age hits! I just couldn't believe what I've been missing out all of these years, but better late than never.

White Hawk - I am 61 and I have been listening to the Bee Gees since I was 14 - or maybe even younger than that. A group has to be/do something pretty fucking incredible to be able to keep a fan with them for that long a period of time. And they DO it so well! A genuine treasure and gift to the music industry - how honored I am/have been to spent so many hours of my life growing up with them and their unique music with the second-to-none harmonies and melodies!
Bee Gees thank for all yours beautiful songs and you are lovely people Sadly that Maurice died so young because than you are here today Barry i love you give mine best to you family and from Maurice and Robin to a lot of love💓💞💕
Today I learned that this was a BeeGee's song. I don't even remember where I heard this, but as soon as I heard it I remembered it. It's the same with the song "Alone", I had no idea that the Bee Gee's sang that. To me they were just a 70's disco band, it had never occurred to me that they sang songs outside of the ones that we all know like "Tragedy". Based on that I'd say definitely one of the greatest composing artists/bands that I am aware of, and underrated perhaps for their versatility over many eras of music
In their leather pants and coats, sooooo cool. Berry still looks so good, it just doesn’t matter how old he gets, and yes I can say old because we are the same age. I know for sure had Mo and Robin lived longer they would have been just as handsome as ever.❤️💋❤️💋

The last clip with the 3 Gibbs brothers together. This album, which we can say is posthumous, is brilliant. Full of rich songs. Bee Gees has an eternal legacy.
Oh God, I see now Bee Gees songs is the music of my whole life !!! I'm just 61 and from child to now always listening their fantastic music. Thanks Barry, Maurice and Robin to make me happy, I'm now with tears in my eyes.
We had just gotten a new big flat screen tv with a stereo system and all the music channels when this came out. My dad and I would watch this video over and over and he’d be messing with the bass and everything trying to find the perfect balance. Miss my old man 💜
Sadly, David English (mother, among other things in this video), promoter of English cricket, and a legend, passed away in November 2022. RIP, Robin, Maurice and David. Fitting that this song is, in many ways, a return to their roots. I am of the opinion it's a sleeper, and it will eventually be recognised for what it is; among their very finest of their songs.
They are just three young boys again having fun, and I love every minute of this video. I can see them as three brothers throwing switchblades off a pier into the water, and vowing to become what they became. THE TOP, THE BEST, THE BEE GEES... FOREVER❤️❤️❤️
I absolutely love these guys! RIP Maurice and Robin! And this song is Amazing! When Extra Measure came out I had to have that album. “Nights on Broadway” floored me
Love, love this song and video! After Mo passed, I rediscovered the guys.....(I feel ashamed to admit that I hadn't listened to their new music in a while.) Afterward, I was on a mission to meet either Barry or Robin. I met Barry when they still owned Middle Ear Studio. He was so very, very kind and gracious. Thank you Barry Gibb...thank you to all the brothers for a lifetime of musical/lyrical genius and fun!
Around 2001 or 2002, I had to go to Miami for a conference and was determined to stop by the coffee shop where Maurice had breakfast daily; I had read that he was fine with people stopping to say hello. I was not able to get away, so that chance was lost. Some years later, I was going to a reception in the Middle East where Robin was supporting the military, because he and Dwina would do a meet and greet. That fell through for me too. I thought I'd have plenty of time to meet them. If only I had, just to say thank you.
@@victoriachinavare5535 You're welcome, no problem. Yes this is a great song, and album. I like Neil Diamond too and have many of his albums too. Have a blessed holiday season.
I could not believe I found yet another winning song from the Bee Gees that I had never heard before!! As obsessed as I have been with them for nearly my entire life, it is almost impossible for me to have missed one of their songs. But - OH - what a fucking fantastic SURPRISE it is!
+ Kay The songs where Robin sang lead were never very popular after the late '60s years. People criticized Barry's infamous falsetto but went for it! BUT they are the ones that will outstand time. 💖
Never been a BGs fan, but i love this song. I remember in the early 2000's when i used to see this video on VH1 and thinking "wtf, those are the Bee Gees??". Nothing to do with what i heard from them. Watching it again more than 20 years later brought me back to those times.
This song was CRAFTED. Timing, harmony, suspense... "I'll go anywhere with you"..... "This is the Danger Zone"... Gorgeous lyrics, says the daughter of a musician, and the mother of two.....
I have always been a fan of these beautiful and talented brothers . This is edgy material and I do love watching it over and over . They seemed to be having so much fun . How I know that we miss Robin and Maurice, but how deeply Barry must miss them more .
They lived more than we think. With all over 22 albums and they struggled making music because of changes in the music industry. They really watch their audience.
Wellcome to the Gibb bros' slumber party! We can have so much fun with these guys.. hair styling, golden chains and other trinkets for elder Gibb..guitar decorating with rhinestones..and try on the little hats 🤠🤓😎🧸🧸🧸🎸💗💗💗
I'm fairly sure that this is one of the BEE GEES last new recordings, and they hit a HOME RUN! I know people that like HARD ROCK that love this song. I miss you guy's, THANK YOU R.I.P. Maurice & Robin :(
You're right- The album This Is Where I Came In WAS The BeeGees last album recorded... You should hear it all the way through- SO many different types of music! Its a blast to hear! Wait till you hear Voice In The Wilderness- its something you wont expect!😉❤
Barry, Robin and Maurice. Not only with natural God given talent and handsome looks, but, genuinely good men as well!! Andy also, total class.♥️♥️🙏♥️♥️👍
My mom just died on the 21st of October and her favorite group was the Bee gees. We would always listen to them we even watch their live performance on TV before both Morris and Robin both died. I can't stop listening to them since my mom passed😢
What is more amazing about this song (and the whole album too) is how Bee Gees could do such different music styles through the 60s, 70s, 80s (even the Robin's stuff), 90s and 00s and be so good at that. I'm not a great fan from them but I cannot deny such talent to make songs and as people Barry is and Robin and Maurice was, such nice guys. Thank you for the music you three gave to us and to this world, your majestic work will be appreciate for many generations ahead, a very few could impact the music scenario (with the Beatles, Rolling Stones etc.) as you three did.
I ❤ it. They had different parts: I thought Robin was very playful and(loud), Maurice had his hat changes, and Barry, 1st asleep, sang,"This is where I just came in. Beautiful. Loved the tacky van with tacky orange curtains... They began 3 brothers in bed. Wonderful.
I love how the video opens with them 3 in a bed which is the way they used to sleep🥰

If they were all alive now they'd write a song that's of the style these days. They just fitted in whenever. Late 60s, got it. 2001, nailed it.
I don’t think they simply fitted in: they connected to trends but they innovated too. Gifted.

Ah, Robin... I'd go anywhere with you too. Even now. I'd much rather be where you are than here. x
20 years later - Still fire
Unique for the Bee Gees and shows how they still managed to stay relevant after all these decades... vaguely haunting...
And now there's only one...
+ gardensofthegods As haunting as Robin's voice.
Li Lise
Haha that is a pretty good one.
not really, not far off what they were doing in the 60s
That teddy bear!!! Tears me up every time! Great video--their funny moments say a lot their personalities. Love them forever! BEE GEES FOREVER!!
Barry standing with that goofy smile on his face - just like Mo used to do during their medley songs.
3 brothers who loved each other.
Oh God, I see now Bee Gees songs is the music of my whole life !!! I'm just 61 and from child to now always listening their fantastic music. Thanks Barry, Maurice and Robin to make me happy, I'm now with tears in my eyes.
casbert7 same here, grew up with their sons😍😍😍
In the tradition of the best British bands the Bee Gees got better with age.
Alguien más en 2024 buscando estos Clásicos ❤???

@@silviabunu1948🎉🎉tem um video do Bary que nao aparece mais aqui.
It's such a cloudy evening here and I'm listening to them. Nostalgic...
I have so much respect for them! They're three of the most talented people of all time! Great to see their sense of humor in this video!
We had just gotten a new big flat screen tv with a stereo system and all the music channels when this came out. My dad and I would watch this video over and over and he’d be messing with the bass and everything trying to find the perfect balance.
Miss my old man 💜
How i miss the Robin's voice! 💔
Me too!
Every day.
Same here😢
Mo’s dance moves, hats, and him videobombing are my favorite things about this video. This video is a work of art.
💕
I was just telling my wife about that very thing!😃😃😃
With the stylish hats that Maurice wore, he could had made a designer line of hats using his name. 'The Maurice Collection.'
🥰
@@brendawilson8208 You so right.
Maurice was a maniac in this one.
Very talented guys; they had a very long career.
mjazzguitar over 50 years in music industry. There will never be anyone like the Bee Gees again
I love this song so much. My rabbit is called Robyn. She's named after 2 different Robins. Williams and Gibb.
“Nights on Broadway” floored me
And RIP to baby bro Andy, who would've been 66 March 5th & passed away 36 years ago March 10th.😪
Best Bee Gee song,so sad they can’t all be together again😢Loved it when I first heard in 2001 and love it today 😍
Still listening to it in 2021……
Still listening in 2024….
I love Barry with the teddy bear 😇
Me too. :)
Wish I was that teddy bear :-) :-)
I love it too - in an odd sort of way ;)
Fiona Cameron I know me too.
Taaffeite C me too
That teddy bear tears me up every time!! This shows their funny, comic sides. A real gem! Of course a great song doesn't hurt.
I heard the teddy bear was a real diva on the set.
This Bee Gees fan has had teddy bears, bunnies and cats for decades and not aways for humour purposes. Yes they did great songs.
How is Barry always able to look so damn cool?
Simple. Because he is!
Because he's Barry Gibb.
HES BARRY GIBB GOD DAMN IT
Because he is Barry effin Gibb ( From SNL's very popular skit The Barry Gibb Talk Show starring Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon)
Look at him at 0:29, only one eye opened. Looks cool!! Like an anime character! 😂😂
This is my favorite song of the beegees. I loved robin gibb.he had a beautiful voice. It's a shame he and Maurice are gone. God bless barry. 🙏♥️🌹
You mean Barry. Yes, Rest In Peace to Robin and Maurice...and Andy.
Thank you my mistake
@@victoriachinavare5535 You're welcome, no problem. Yes this is a great song, and album. I like Neil Diamond too and have many of his albums too. Have a blessed holiday season.
BOSS SONG
I could not believe I found yet another winning song from the Bee Gees that I had never heard before!! As obsessed as I have been with them for nearly my entire life, it is almost impossible for me to have missed one of their songs.
But - OH - what a fucking fantastic SURPRISE it is!
+ Kay The songs where Robin sang lead were never very popular after the late '60s years. People criticized Barry's infamous falsetto but went for it! BUT they are the ones that will outstand time. 💖
I haven't heard it either.
Yes I've been listening a long time and there is always some you miss. They have sooo many.
Me too! How did I miss this one!!! LOVE it - thank goodness for youtube:)
Hear hear
Never been a BGs fan, but i love this song. I remember in the early 2000's when i used to see this video on VH1 and thinking "wtf, those are the Bee Gees??". Nothing to do with what i heard from them. Watching it again more than 20 years later brought me back to those times.
They have sooo many good songs!👍
The most amazing song writers in history till the end.
すっごく、いい歌です。
Really think this along with ‘Man In The Middle’ should have been hits!
Totally!! both are amazing songs! Really really good tracks, and I hope someday they get the recognition they deserve!!
This Was a UK #18 but know what you mean
I am sure they had a lot of fun while making this video. Poor Barry. This must be so hard for him.
This song was CRAFTED. Timing, harmony, suspense... "I'll go anywhere with you"..... "This is the Danger Zone"... Gorgeous lyrics, says
the daughter of a musician, and the mother of two.....
I was never a beegees fan... but I needed just 1 time hearing this song to absolutely love it, just brilliant!
Me too.
Take your time, they have lots of quality music spanning 5 decades: ballads, rock, r&b, soul, to writing songs for other artist
That's literally how I get to know this band. This song is like a core memory to me
@@sitaward3437Beegees always had a high standard, but I think they surpassed themselves here by writing a perfect popsong.
I have always been a fan of these beautiful and talented brothers . This is edgy material and I do love watching it over and over . They seemed to be having so much fun . How I know that we miss Robin and Maurice, but how deeply Barry must miss them more .
Listening to this as a new fan, I can`t imagine the grief of those who loved them earlier. Such talent, such loss.
The soulful vocals of Robin RIP Legend
Maurice had the best voice!
Maurice had the most talent!
only 2 years later maurice would pass. Its still nice to see maurice and robin just playing around like kids along with barry
Strong vibra from robin

The harmonies in this song are fantastic. It also has a great beat to it. Makes me want to dance.
They are absolutely the best of the best...back then, now and forever....
I'm fairly sure that this is one of the BEE GEES last new recordings, and they hit a HOME RUN! I know people that like HARD ROCK that love this song. I miss you guy's, THANK YOU R.I.P. Maurice & Robin :(
PLEASE FORGIVE ME... OF COURSE WE MISS ANDY TOO!!!
You're right- The album This Is Where I Came In WAS The BeeGees last album recorded... You should hear it all the way through- SO many different types of music! Its a blast to hear! Wait till you hear Voice In The Wilderness- its something you wont expect!😉❤
i love death metal and all sorts of noisy music but i also love the bee gees. any group that can make well-crafted pop tunes are winners to me.
2002
It was, unfortunately. They hadn't planned on it, but that's how it turned out.
Barry, Robin and Maurice. Not only with natural God given talent and handsome looks, but, genuinely good men as well!! Andy also, total class.♥️♥️🙏♥️♥️👍
SIR BARRY AND HIS BROTHERS ARE HAVING A BLAST AND HAVING A GOOD TIME
Absolutely great. I love this song and the video
Mo was so cool and talented!
My mom just died on the 21st of October and her favorite group was the Bee gees. We would always listen to them we even watch their live performance on TV before both Morris and Robin both died. I can't stop listening to them since my mom passed😢
It makes me sad to see them like this and know that only Barry is left...:(
Feel privileged we were witnesses to the most wonderful music

How sad that their parents lost 3 kids !
Love your music long live the bee gee
What is more amazing about this song (and the whole album too) is how Bee Gees could do such different music styles through the 60s, 70s, 80s (even the Robin's stuff), 90s and 00s and be so good at that. I'm not a great fan from them but I cannot deny such talent to make songs and as people Barry is and Robin and Maurice was, such nice guys. Thank you for the music you three gave to us and to this world, your majestic work will be appreciate for many generations ahead, a very few could impact the music scenario (with the Beatles, Rolling Stones etc.) as you three did.
A reminder how effective and beautiful the brothers alternating lines in a song was. One of my favorite songs & videos.
I ❤ it. They had different parts: I thought Robin was very playful and(loud), Maurice had his hat changes, and Barry, 1st asleep,
sang,"This is where I just came in.
Beautiful. Loved the tacky van with tacky orange curtains...
They began 3 brothers in bed. Wonderful.
I like Robin's voice, Maurice's cuteness and Barry's appearance, and of course, I love the talent of all three.
Exceptional talented brothers can composed any type of music just name it they will have something for everyone.
Wow Robin’s voice is so beautiful, powerful , it blows my mind every time
Great song, Great group, Great Robin vocal!!!!
Aww Morris holding teddy wins every one hearts melt
