She's great you are on the right side of RUclips....lots of good musicans out there. Mary has expanded her content to be more than music, she goes pretty deep into her life and other interests.

Now this is a real banger! Not only did you feature one of my favourite artists, but your video shows how much effort you took to dive really deep into her work. You said you couldn't do Mary justice, but no one could have come closer in 44 minutes.
Thank you for including Churchbells. This is my absolute favourite of her songs: Powerful emotions boiling away, barely contained by a seemingly calm outer shell. Priceless.
The Great Wave directly led me to discover Japanese print art, which I had not the slightest idea of before
The videography of Sleeping Tonight is indeed amazing. I could spend hours watching the light changes occuring outside, giving a strong visual of the passage of time.
Mary is also a gifted interviewer. It was through one of her talks that I discovered Reina del Cid about three or four years ago. This in turn led me to Josh Turner, and I was delighted to see Reina, Josh, Toni Lindgren and Carson McKee live on stage in Cologne last November.
A very fine cover of hers is Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams", recorded at Anderton's on acoustic guitars with house guitarist "Danish Pete" playing lead guitar while Mary adds her rock steady rhythm playing and vocals as smooth as "Baileys running down Jennifer Lawrence" (quote from the comment section of that video). A real treat. The video is on the Anderton's channel, not on hers.
After releasing her first studio album later in the year she is expected to tour in 2024. I hope to see her then.
Thank you for enterteining me tonight! I opened my laptop with the intention of watching your video on The Interruptors, but of course that had to wait when the notification for this came up.
May I suggest another band for this series? What about Against the Current? They started with YT covers over ten years ago and are now, at least in my humble opinion, about the finest Indie Rock band to be found. "Indie" can be taken literally, as they are operating without a label at this moment. Although selling out venues for 2000 to 3000 people when on tour, they somehow always were below the public radar.
Thanks again and greetings from Germany!

Again, greetings to Germany! We appreciate your comments and support! Yes, we also cannot wait for Mary's first album this year and potential tour next year ... both highly anticipated by her fans! And ... thanks for the suggestion of Against the Current ... we have added them to our pipeline.

Mary can do it all, it seems. Wonderful singer-songwriter-guitarist. An great film maker. A wonderful speaking voice. I know she enjoys her independence, but I can't help but think that a reputable management agency couldn't take her to new heights.

Her vocal style on “You Need Therapy” reminds me of Rhianna Gibbons, which is no small praise

So I am quite familiar with Mary, and I just watched the episode on Larkin Poe, who I have followed for years. Even saw them when they were in Belgium supporting Venom & Faith. My guess is that means the next episode should be The Warning to keep with the theme of Fortivo featured artists that, in fact, are not at all new to me. :). All three acts fly under the radar, and are just soooooo good. Mary channeling the Boss now, so gotta pay attention.

Ha! Funny thing: we have an episode featuring The Warning in our queue for Jan/Feb! I guess you have impeccable musical tastes. ;-) Also, hopefully in some of our other episodes (Across the Covers?) you will find other talented artists that are, in fact, new to you. Thanks for tuning in and sharing your feedback!

@@fortivomusic After I wrote that, I found your episode on Reina del Cid. That's four, so definitely going to be watching some that are actually new to me. :) And looking forward to your episode on The Warning. All three of those ladies are amazing, but OMFG Pau on drums is just a beast. Her fills and scream on Evolve, oh my.
And since this is a reply to Mary's episode, anyone who hasn't seen her duet with Leo Moracchioli on Sultans of Swing should check it out. That was my intro, and WOW, deep vocal silk. And a nice bit of banjo. And so much fun.

@@gordonprice695 Yes, the Mary/Leo collab is definitely a must-watch ... which is why we included it in our "Across the Covers" episode featuring "Sultans of Swing". Great stuff!
BTW ... since you seem to be a big fan of The Warning ... would you be interested in helping us write their upcoming "Artist Spotlight" episode? Getting a current fan's perspective is a good way to introduce an emerging artist to a prospective new fan. Drop us a note at info[at]fortivomusic[dot]com.

Don`t forget the hilarious collaboration with Leo Moraccioli on Sultans of Swing or Mary and Pete's Jaw Dropping Performance of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" at Anderton Music.
