The school has these children in a totally vulnerable situation, if they complain or try to speak out, those in charge will just say the child is lying just to get out of there, and based on their former behavior the staff will be believed. What I dont understand is why would any parent send their child or any children into a situation where their child is isolated from family? For me that is a serious red flag. These are kids, not adults being treated for drug or alcohol abuse. I know that these children have serious behavioral issues, but these issues should be treated within the context of the whole family being involved. How can you expect a child to feel safe if he is ripped from his parents house without them even, then put some place where they are not only vulnerable, but immediately upon arriving they are put through a very punishing ritual for several days before they are even allowed to know what is going on. These kids already know they are out of control, but most of the time it is probably a mental disorder, or an emotional disorder that causes them to act out. Plus there has to be something going on within the family environment. Treating them with harsh punishment, and humiliating them doesnt work with the most troubled children, just like they found out torturing prisoners to get information or a confession doesnt work either!
