The photo op was such a warm moment in Vinesauce history. Not to be overly parasocial here, but it's been a tough few years for everybody and seeing Chat come together just to take a nice picture to celebrate our favorite spooky day with our favorite Bipyort was one of those moments where you really get to see how cool this community is.
I was just about to comment this, but yeah. It deserves to be literally framed as a landmark moment in Vinesauce history for just how hecking wholesome it was.
It was wonderful, because Halloween’s all about looking on the bright side of the darkest things. We celebrate skeletons and ghosts because we don’t fear death, we acknowledge it’s a factor of life because we’re happy to be alive. So after all that’s happened since 2020, or 2019, or whichever year you choose, everybody being able to live in the moment again and triumph over the dread that’s prevailed most other days was something special. From all across the world, too. Life is good.

My guess for this one is that once someone sent him a game based on a Local 58 video which was really well done and he enjoyed, but that as far as I know wasn't ARG or anything it was just a stand alone video game interpretation of the video.
He missed the big dude by the window scare in Unsorted VHS. I swear, when I played it, that jerk almost made my soul jump out of my body and go skinny dip into the Sea of Eden itself.
The fact that someone said: "This Super Mario game is cool and all, but it would better if we add a metroidvania map and add meat puzzles" I just wouldn't be able to come up with this stuff

That meat puzzle game is actually really impressive. It's like BoxBoy but with more girth.
Interesting set of games, did enjoy the group picture during the pumpkin segment. Seeing a lot of the cool pumpkins from other peeps is great as well.

Seems a big theme with these indie horror games lately is "somewhat tedious gameplay in an unsettling atmosphere that leads to one single scare"
Some of them, like the drilling game, do have a creepy atmosphere though. It's better than the usual jumpscares.
I think it's because of Iron Lung. Of course every interesting concept has to be run into the ground until it's not unique anymore.
