Will,I met your brother Rich on a job yesterday and we talked and talked and slowed each other down.He mentioned you and I asked him (after he casually informed me you a Muscle Shoals player)if you were a rhythm or lead guy.He said lead and I wondered if he even knew what I meant. He was dead on.You're as genuine and real as a musician as he is as a person.A pleasure all around.

So many young and older players do not know this rudimentary theory or chord substitution. This will help them a lot. Nice job Will!

This video really was enlightening for me. I've played now, about 25 years and feel very boxed, and limited. The theory/permission comment and explanation really opened my eyes. Maybe, with practice, I can wake up my ole Super Reverb. Keep up the videos please.

This was great for me. Killer tone and feel. He articulated better than I ever have how I tend to think about rhythm guitar. That hit me right in a place I need to focus, on all those connective sixths/thirds/fourths that you can use to tie together and create flow through chord changes. Time to go practice! I will absolutely refer people to this video. Thanks.

I really enjoyed your playing last night, and this is a wonderful explanation of your approach. Your beautiful fills enhanced everyone you backed, without upstaging them in the least. Very nice work!

Hi Will...can I ask are the pickups originals or perhaps you`ve replaced them.? This Tele sounds perfect with warm woody tone and clarity in balance. There also appears to not be a dramatic difference in tone when you switch between the pickups, as many Tele`s do. Obviously the difference can be heard when you do switch between pickups, but everything soundsvery warm and balanced and Tele toneful..! Thanks for the great videos.. Cheers
