- Hi guys,
this is something I'm currently working on.
Trying to make waste oil heater for my garage with blue flame
This is basic concept of the blue flame waste oil heater, the oil is pour in and there is no feed

Part 2 in here: • Blue Flame Waste Oil H...
Second run: • Blue Flame Waste Oil B...

Great video Martin! Getting a blue flame with oil is an achievement! Would you mind sharing some plans/drawings for this burner? Thanks and awesome stuff mate!
Yes, will do, I'm thinking of doing smaller version, so I'll document the process and post it
Nice flame from used oil! It would be neat to do some experimentation with natural aspiration.....I guess that is on my shoulders and a few others that are close to achieving it.....keeping it simple,
Cheers
thank you, it would be really interesting to see blue flame with NA, any details about your project?
Awesome! But how is the oil introduced?
I work for a company that has oil waste with some water and sludge in it. I am trying to figure a way to burn of the sludge to get rid of the biohazard! Any ideas? I can classify the water to some extant, but the sludge is the problem.
Thank you, This was just test run and the oil was poured in, in the last video, there is explanation how is the oil feed done.
@@martinsdiy825 Thanks for the reply
Hi! It is a great idea I like it
Du, you have the size (measurement) for everything, please let me know thanks in advance.
Yes, will add them in another video
Looks amazing!
Thank you
Looks great! Very similar results to Monkey Factory?
Would be cool to know dimensions of air holes etc so it can be replacated?
Thank you.
will post them in another video
Are you able to estimate the power of the burner , in KW?, How much oil can bunr in 1 hour?
It burns about 1.5l of oil per hour, so the estimated heating output is about 15kW
Very nice. Can you share some details? What is at 0:52 ?
Thank you, this is different type of burner:

It is in the last video
what oil type use? I use normal waste engine oil.
this is it, exactly, used motor oil
Looks like a methonal or alcohol flame. Verry interesting
Thank you, it is really waste oil burning, will have update soon
I don't see the oil inlet are you just pouring i in?
yes, at this video just poured in, the other is showing gravity feed, already have dosing feed, will post the fianl result later
Where does the oil feed from. Is it gravity or force fed. Thanks
on the first video it was just poured in, the next video is on gravity feed, but I'm working on the dosing pump control
Is it free heated the oil by the design by same flame before the oil rich in to the burning chamber?

Hi, I don't understand the meaning of it
Whats size holes for the air?
3.5mm, there are explained in the next video
Hi, black oil?
yes, waste motor oil, diesel, petrol, any type you can get
To convince AYONE in the INTERNET that you burned wasteoil, you REALY NEED to make another vid.... !
This one here isn't proofing anything i fear !!?
it will be coming up soon, it is just not needed at the moment, but I will take it out soon and update the video
How to make bro?
gas cylinder, pipes, waste oil and forced air, will add details soon
More detail plz
will add update soon
Dang, no audio...
sorry, still trying to learn how to make it better, will try next time
Entrancing
thank you
👍
A lot of carbon monoxide, be careful
thank you for the warning, I didn't test that, but isn't Carbon Monoxide by the yellow flame?
@@martinsdiy825 ruclips.net/video/Kkh9Ox-ozbk/видео.html
When there is a flying blue flame, there will be a lot of carbon monoxide. If you add more air, there will be a complete combustion without carbon monoxide.
Carbon monoxide is produced when you burn, amongst other things, oil, gases, petroleum, diesel, etc. It is odourless, and you get CO in quite large quantities from oils. Carbon monoxide is actually poisonous, the first thing to be seen is drowsiness death will follow quite quickly if no fresh air is supplied. IT IS A KILLER. Don't confuse this with carbon dioxide, which you get in large quantities with a bad burn (yellow flame) please be careful, you need to have a chimney if this is indoors
@@burenie-s its exactly the oposite.Yelow flame means laxk of oxigen and carbon monoxide.
Blue flame means lots of oxigen and the carbon monoxide its oxidated fast to CO2.
Flame is yellow/orange because of unburnt carbon compounds being illuminated by the flame. This is often associated with lack of O2 and improper combustion. With proper air mixing and combustion which delivers higher combustion temps(above 2200F), these carbon compounds are completely broken down so are no longer illuminated by the flame. Al combustion produces CO, but a yellow flame should produce more... nice blue flame!
hhhmmm carbon monoxide.
What about it?
Abit boring no talking about your heater.
sorted in the next video
@@martinsdiy825 you have a bloody good heater just need to explain how you've done it. It's very boring as it is.
