Having built a deck where i can swap either slifer or ra as they both share some base cards for the complete deck, ra is faster once the engine gets going. Slifer is a little slower but its super fun once you pair it with cards like light of intervention and final attack orders as basically your opponent cant set up a board since most of their tribute fodder just dies on summon due to slifer just existing on the field. Both are super fun in their own ways. I would give ra the competitive edge over slifer tho if you go that route however.
I think the biggest issue with Slifer how chain links work in general in conjunction with how his destruction effect is and how his "Raigeki Draw" quick-play.
The card kinda sits there like a goof to anything that immediately summons into another card, and is unbelievably vulnerable to any kind of destruction. For the decks it works against, they're immediately done whenever he's summoned, but currently, Yugioh is shifting to normal starters that immediately hop off the board using quick effects that make Slifer the equivalent of a guard-dog tribute summon behind a metal fence.
99% all bark and no bite, which is a shame, because on release he could at least use that second mouth effect before being immediately outed or ignored
@@nm2358 eh true but most of the god cards are more bark no bite. None of them are super competitive if you’re going that route in terms of locals or tournaments. But like i said, with certain cards, slifer can be very powerful in an annoying way. Those two traps together with a mound of the bound creator to give some extra protection…you can lock somebody out from even setting up a board potentially. Most newer effect monsters that set up big chains for decks are all under 2000. Perfect for easy wipes on summon.
Tbh i feel all the god cards should have the obelisk affect that they cant be targeted but thats just me.
Slifer has its own deck that’s way more consistent and competitive than what we got from the Structure Deck. They made a bunch of new support for Queens, Kings and Jacks Knight that make it easy to summon Slifer

While Raa did get whole archetype to support it directly both Sliffer and Obelisk got indirect lore friendly support. Sliffer got Court of cards and Obelisk got Ishizu fairies (yes Ishizu supports obelisk if played correctly) and some of her older cards like Zolga the prophet support it too.

I think it'd be cool to see a matchup where you get random villain decks to fight against each other XD, especially if they were villains from different series of YuGiOh!
and you should be able to power them up to be as close to meta as possible. Max power villain matchup.
Slifer, he's the only God that can have changing attack points without your life points going down
Two duels I love to see one where you can’t have a mister with more than 1000 attacks and the other with 5 cards in deck with at least OTK will make you figure out how to call them out

Would love to see a machine archetype wheel since most of them have new support, cybers, ancient gears, jinzo, and some of the new machine archetypes would be super dope keep doing awesome stuff
*Cards that are needed for the egyptian god deck.* This is long as hell.
Superiority (Spell): Add 1 *"Divine"* creature from your deck to your hand and throw 1 monster in your deck into the graveyard.
Divine protection (trap): All *"Divine"* monsters are invincible this turn. They are also the only monsters that are targetable for a attack.
4star Slifers servant
2000atk/def (Monster): When *"Slifer"* is targeted for a attack, spell or trap. Tribute this card from your hand or field to the GY and negate the effect or attack. GY: when sent to the GY add a *"Slifers servant"* card from Deck to your hand or draw 2 cards.
Enraged Awakening (Spell/Trap): When a *"Divine"* monster is destroyed you can activate this card to bring them back onto the field by sending as many cards in your hand to the GY. The Monster gains 1,000atk for each monster sent to the GY.
Final Stand (Spell): Add 1 card from your deck or GY to your hand.
Limitless Potential (Continuous Trap): *"Divine"* monsters cannot be destroyed by card effects, Traps or Battle. GY: When this card is sent to the GY or destroyed do damage to your opponents LP equal to 1 *"Divine"* monster on the field.
4star Guardians Of The Tormentor 1500atk/def (monster): When Obelisk is summoned to the field special summon this card in attack position. When Obelisk uses his abilities 1 *"Guardian Of The Tormentor"* counts as 2 tributes. GY: add 1 *"Guradian of The Tormentor"* or *"Tormentors Domain"* from the deck to the hand
Tormentors Domain (Field Spell): When this field spell is activated Obelisk can make up to 2 attacks per battle phase and deals 100 x lvl damage to the opponents LP. GY: Destroy all attack position monsters on your opponents field or add 1 Fist of Fate from your GraveYard or Deck to your hand.

In the anime it literally says that The Winged Dragon Of Ra was the strongest Egyptian god plus in the card game the card ancient chant make it where that when you can add one winged dragon of Ra from the deck to the hand and banish ancient chant from the grave yard then when you tribute summon winged dragon of Ra it gains the ATK of the tribute monsters plus you can pay your life points to give it more ATK so ya I would say that The Winged Dragon Of Ra is the strongest Egyptian god out of the three

Ra has Sphere Mode and Phoenix Mode, that's more than enough to be superior than Slifer or should I say Osiris, yeah that's a better name. Anyways, Sam and his little brother Soom are entertaining to watch.

That was the rule though in the last episode, and Sam lost because he attacked with obelisk first and couldn't get the finishing blow with his other monster and he ended up losing😂

In the anime ra was the strongest god being the most powerful and unaffected by the other gods including obelisk and slifer, this was because ra was the main god so his divine hierarchy power level was 2 while the other gods had one , 3 could not be reached until the creator god of light was born from the fusion of the 3 gods
