The idea of making our own tier list of items is really interesting. We've seen with a lot of games the rely on pseudorandomness that it's best to have ways to bring back predictability to facilitate more strategic play. Pulling that feature out of the gameplay loop is fairly unique though. Most games go with rerolls, locks, banishes, etc.
I like the way they've done it. You can always just go pure random to challenge yourself but the top scores will have to use the best gear so having a consistent way to do that is great too.
That was a great run! The hammers are awesome! There is a supplement upgrade for it and it get insane. I mean all the supplement are amazing! Keep up the great work and don’t let the trolls bug you. You are the Dome Master ❤
I wasn't much into watching prestige but now, as you mention, this new ones give a very interesting challenge, a new vibe and feel. So many thanks for showing this one, not only was it really cool, but it also changed my mind a lot!!! 😁
Oh of course... I grind to find 3 water drop and 3 cobalt drop on first 7 blocks start, and cannot find it, and Luckless gets it just like that, on (I assume) second run... XD
I played DK in the past and I found the Javelin upgrade for the sword dome incredibly strong (just requires a bit of practise against ranged enemies), although I haven't really used it in prestige mode. It may be worth a shot to see if you like it, it used to absolutely delete enemies
i've wondered for a while; why not avoid mining early iron for use with seed later on? the first or second iron so critical that the returns from seed later don't make worth reserving?
If you've got the Sword Dome upgraded to reflect projectiles, and the last monster is the Antler guy, you could simply leave the sword in position and let him unaliven himself while you mosey down into the mine. (I got this from watching either zimny or mr_____man last year) Just be sure to hit it with a couple of swords first because I suspect (after the changes) that an unhurt Antler won't be able to commit sudoku in time before the secondary "too-slow-wave" spawns. Thank you, man, and congratz on reaching the top 10! Worst prestige play I've ever seen! ;Ppp
I won't count how many wave you did but if you took the multiplier early to mid point of amount of wave you plan to do you should be able to maximise the number or point no? Just guessing, no idea if the math are mathing. :D But i admit i am good at coming up with theory, i suck at conceptualise them. :D
The theory is solid. The issue is you may not be strong enough to survive earlier on as the waves get stronger with each water invested in the multiplier. There's probably some balancing point that the community will figure out with some time.
I thing best way for top score is kepping wave at 1, then you dig most of map and upgrade things to maximum and then yolo all iron and big chunk of water to wave boost and gg...probably what first guy with 80k+ and tesla dome was doing.
I don't think that's really possible. Like the other maps I imagine another wave will come in if you wait too long before killing the first. So you won't survive if you try to mine out most of the map. I do agree that you want to push to keep the first wave alive as long as possible and then pump up the score as early as possible.
@@LucklessLovelocks ok not diging most of map but enough for full upgrades(probably little bit more then half map, cause it was huge map). If you pick tesla dome and survive early game, late game is piece of cake.
@@LucklessLovelocks i send one more coment but its not there anymore...by "keeping wave at 1" i mean keep your score at 1*100, so waves are not that strong and you can focus on mining---> less score but overall bigger power for late game.
you know how itll say 6* 150 on the dashboard in bottom left? up until this run i thought the 6 was the multiplier not how many waves are left so i was wondering why you werent just spamming water into that thing to get it up to like 15... i own this game but i suck at this game so i never did prestige so watching it is enjoyable. i love the game im just no good with it lol it so fun to watch but my internal clock loses track of time too easily when im multitasking edit: actually i still dont understand exactly how it works and im making no assumptions but up until today i thought it was calculated like this: 6* being the multiplier and the second number times each other, i thought iron increased second number and water increased first... im probably wrong about the entire thing but i figure id shoot comment to show support for channel and i hit that like
@@somdood3292 that's correct the 6 is the multiplier and it goes up with every water invested. It goes down by 1 after each wave. The rub is that when it goes up the strength of the waves goes up. Iron increases the base score (the second number).

I like this one a lot. I like the risk reward balance and it seems to not take too long to get a good score.
Well done! It was a bit stressful, but finally you showed how it's done. Loved that round-and-round sword play, haven't seen that before.

unaliven himself! I like that. Yeah that's a smart play. I'll definitely do more of that.
