Hi, I'm installing my curtain hardware and like you I hit something hard. Not sure if it is metal or concrete but whatever the case the anchors and screws won't be able to 'hold' the holes as they are. What would be your solution in this case?

Hi!! Oh my goodness, this video has helped me so much but unfortunately, I hung my rods before seeing this video. I have large windows on each side of my fireplace, however they are not symmetrical. I’m really unhappy with how they turned out after hanging the curtains😩 Do you have any tips on hanging curtains from clip rings?? Or if there are any different variations of folds to creat different styles(using clip rings) I really need help. Thank you Natalie😊❤️

So I have Rods up and I'm using drop Clothes for curtains in my living room. They hang with drapery clips. My issue is my ceilings are very low (live in apartment). So the top of my windows are right up to the ceiling. My curtains looks crazy. I don't know what to do.
I don’t know what kind of curtains you have… But could you clip them a little bit lower so the fabric basically touches the ceiling? Is that a possibility for you?
@@designedtothenines I'm using drop Clothes as curtains. So they go to the floor. But because my window frame is at the top of my wall to the ceiling. So their is a gap where u can see the top of the window frame. (I wish I could show you a pic lol) I really can't think of another option.

You're curtains aren't too short, they're just hung too high. Maybe try bringing them down a few inches from the ceiling. General rule of thumb is anywhere from 4-6 inches above the window frame.
You are right. They are to short. I mention this in the video. Watch the video folllowing episode where I add fabric to lengthen them. 😃
You put out a good video, but installing that bracket doesn't have to be so complicated. Using tape measure, and a level alignment tool, unecessarily complicates the job.
I recommend the Rody Precision Corner tool, which simplifies things, and makes the job go faster. It has a pre-set number of holes for markings.
So, for example, if you want 3 inches, both horizontally and vertically, you simply locate the 3 inch hole on the tool, and then you make your mark.
The tool also has bubble levels attached to it, to make sure you establish accurate alignment, so you do not need an extra level tool to get the job done.

To hell with the rules! Why would you allow anyone to make rules about how you decorate your home? You live there, not them. I say hang your drapery according to YOUR taste. If someone doesn't like what you did, well that's THEIR problem, not yours!
I never decorate according to what anyone tells me I HAVE to do. I decorate according to who lives here...ME!
