I just wanted to say your videos helped me so much with EASA Nav Gen ! Thank you. I hated the subject left it until the very end because I didn’t want to deal with it, I ended up getting 100% exam score. Unbelievable. Thank you again
This is the definition of “When god closes a door he opens another”. God gave us EASA “closed door” and ATPL TIPS as the solution “open door”. 😂😂😂. Thanks a lot bro.
Thank you so much sir. I’m writing my ATP exam currently… was so scared of understanding Polar Stereographic charts…my colleagues advised me to learn the answer but recently I came across your video…and learned it…did all the examples simultaneously with you…n now m so much confident to write my ATPL navigation exam. A Big thank you to you…….loads of Love and best of health to you and family. 🥂
Glad to hear it! Just memorising the answer is always a risky tactic. Don’t forget that the questions in the banks are based on students remembering what they had in their exams… it’s perfectly feasible that the questions you actually get in exams will be slightly different!
That's so helpful. I am trying to do the same counting angles since I do not have protractor (I will buy it) , I have notice that I can count it in a matter of seconds, but sometimes I get confused and head just blocks.. Your videos helps to get clear image of what happens, since counting angles is very risky. Although I probably stay with my method for exam to save time. You have a gift of explaining things very clearly. Wonderful
I’m glad you’ve now got a method that will work for you - and don’t worry about failing gnav the first time, better to get a great score 2nd time than scrape through with a 76% the 1st time!
Thule VOR is located at (76°32'N, 68°15'W). A Polar Stereographic Chart with the grid aligned with the Greenwich Meridian is to be used. The local variation is 75°W. Which Grid Track must be maintained to track radial 210(M) inbound?
Thank you so much for your videos, I've been getting tremendous help to learn about all the concepts which were very difficult to visualise! With your videos, they are fun and easy! For the last two questions, can I ask why the grid north is upward direction in the second last example and downward in the last example while both questions are based on South Pole? Not sure what I'm missing out here if anyone could help:)
Hey, thanks for some great vids. You seem to know you aviation theory, especially gnav, and you are clearly good at teaching it to others. In case you need or are looking for a good payed job, the school I’m at is currently looking for theory teachers. It’s a really good school, good pay and really modern. The school is called Pilot Flight Academy, and is situated in Norway. Just thought you should know.
Thanks - I just checked out the school, and it looks great! It looks like they've stopped recruiting now, but I'll keep checking back! Feel free to pass on my email address if you'd like, tom@atpltips.com
Good day hope all is well,I would love some help on a question I really struggle with but I’m writing in a week,so I don’t know, any chance I can contact you somewhere for some help?
Great videos, fair play to you.. wondering if you could help me out with this from AtplQ No:615801 ? You were doing a similar one to this only it was Southern Hemisphere, I tried doing it but I just can’t workout how the answer is 090. Thanks :)
