Thanks! My machine was a lot more cranky about the button sequence than yours but with a bit of persistence and random button pushing the method worked - much to my amazement! Couldn't get it to exit maintenance mode after the purge but just pulling the plug also worked. Really, really helpful as I needed that printer working today!
Thx A lot bro .. got error code 46 while trying to make a cleaning routine.after i watched ur tuto vid .. gladly my printer came back alive again ... so so much thxxxxxx !!!!
Well done! Almost accurate. You missed a couple of instructions, but generally not bad. I'm a Sr. Technical Communicator, and you forgot to mention that after pressing the + button to get to 9, users must press OK. Other than that, it worked.
Worked fine on My Brother 150C. Better still, found a WEB link that told how to take Printer apart and Clean Absorber Pad. Now good for another 3000 cleans, hopefully. Cheers FCB
Merci beaucoup c'est super ça fonctionne sur DCP-135C !!! J'en reviens pas ça faisait deux heures que je galérais à résoudre le problème... et voila problème résolu Merci !!!
Great Video. I still am using a 135C in 2020! Great little machine. However it started giving a out of memory error when I wanted to scan to USB. It overcame the error when I entered maintenance mode and exited it. Weird.
Hello, thank you for your video which is very clear. I realized each point of your tutorial and I still have the breakdown while having the purge at "0000". FYI, when the printer initializes after the purge update and beyond, the scanner has a creaking noise in the gears. This must be incorrectly positioned and may have created a problem when resetting the printer. When do you think and can you help me on this? thank you for your comeback
Hello, perhaps You know is there a separate battery for the display? When I start the printer the display is bright but after some minute it dims itself and there is almost nothing to see on it.
Thanks! You saved my printer and saved me travelling all over to try and get my old printer working again. You genius :o)
Thank you so much, Marie. We really appreciate it!

I think I bought Brother DCP-135C in 2008. It is really durable. Surprisingly I can still find a fix here.
