Battles In The North - Immortal - Cover

My personal cover of Battles In The North. I based my playing upon Abbath live performance, which is different to the album record as it incorporates a more palm-muted style and traditional power chords instead of barre.

There actually is a bass track, although it is not audible in the mix. :)
The setup is a Ibanez Gio with EMG 81 going into my audio interface using a couple of plugins. A JCM800 preset for BIAS FX and NadIR with G12T-75 impulse responses.

Glad its useful. Tbf, I played it a bit different from the record, based on what Abbath used to play live. Demonaz style is different, more traditional "black" with barre chords.

Sorry for late reply. I wrote down the two riffs in guitar pro. If you want to be closer to the Immortal record you can extend the powerchords to minor chords on the 3rd string, as seen in brackets. What I play is closer to Abbath's live performances.
