The purpose of listening to this sound was to make people aware that this sound exist. Sandeep Maheshwari himself said many times that you don't have to meditate on this sound if you have wordly problems. He said that first you have to solve your wordly problems and if you feel that you are relatively stable now, then only you have to meditate on this sound. Meditate in a sense, again you don't have to just keep listening to this sound. You have to inquire the sense of self in you and simultaneously relate yourself to this sound whether this sound is different from me or this is my true nature. Whether this sound is my imagination or its reality. We have to question each and every aspect of our 'self' and its relation with this sound until we get clearity on this subject.

I have watched Sandeep Maheshwari "Sound of Silence" video and I have watched his many videos but what Acharya Prashant is explaining, I find it more accurate and to the point. Thank-you so much sir for your genuine marvellous efforts!
I practice meditation for 4 years it is very good feeling i used to do mediation for more than 3 hours in corona time my main motive of meditation was for zero thoughts, spirituality and it minimise my overthinking but it is very temporary method and after that i find acharya Prashant and i came to know knowledge is permanent solution meditation can be helpful for atmaalokan so sree krishna gives us knowledge of gita instead of teaching sound of silence meditation techniques.After reading gita and listing acharya ji i become vegetarian and also leaves cold drinks knowledge give clarity not meditation its my experience give more time to reading books and less time to meditation.
Even Sandeep Maheshwari told the real meditation is realising the reality. So, I also agree Prashant sir on this. But I also have a question i.e., Prashant Sir told the reality is meditation and goal should be mukti. My question is simple, Is making a goal and try to attain it can give us peace. Firstly, Until you are the way to achieve the goal, you will be restless. Secondly, what is a goal as mukti? Is it free from suffering? Is it knowing yourself is mukti? If knowing yourself is mukti, then when you realise yourself fully, it can be a life time process. And as we humans after attained a goal, we seek for a new goal. So before and after attaining the goal. Where is peace? I want to understand these things. If anyone can answer my questions please reply.
First thing first, Sandeep Maheshwari is no reference to compare Acharya Prashant. One is a motivational speaker while the other is an Adyatmic teacher. The job of a motivational speaker is to pump you up to achieve material success, which is not an Adyatmic teacher. Now coming to your question of what is peace, it is when you have no desire, including the desire for peace. The method to be free from something is to know that thing. If you can understand what is greed and why and how it comes into existence in you, then you can be free from it as you will know it is not useful for you based on your knowledge about it. This is true about anything, such as envy, ego, etc. In order to know something, one has to focus on it and analyze it. This requires Dhyan so that you can meditate on the subject you want to know. Once you have done this for everything you are attached to then you will be free from those things. That is how you get Mukti.
There is peace but, we find peace in wrong place... When you look the sky with full of stars in night, and just look at it without chattering inside.. What we say about that state.?

I have watched Sandeep Maheshwari "Sound of Silence" video and I have watched his many videos but what Acharya Prashant is explaining, I find it more accurate and to the point. Thank-you so much sir for your genuine marvellous efforts!

I practice meditation for 4 years it is very good feeling i used to do mediation for more than 3 hours in corona time my main motive of meditation was for zero thoughts, spirituality and it minimise my overthinking but it is very temporary method and after that i find acharya Prashant and i came to know knowledge is permanent solution meditation can be helpful for atmaalokan so sree krishna gives us knowledge of gita instead of teaching sound of silence meditation techniques.After reading gita and listing acharya ji i become vegetarian and also leaves cold drinks knowledge give clarity not meditation its my experience give more time to reading books and less time to meditation.

So, I also agree Prashant sir on this.
But I also have a question i.e., Prashant Sir told the reality is meditation and goal should be mukti. My question is simple, Is making a goal and try to attain it can give us peace. Firstly, Until you are the way to achieve the goal, you will be restless. Secondly, what is a goal as mukti? Is it free from suffering? Is it knowing yourself is mukti? If knowing yourself is mukti, then when you realise yourself fully, it can be a life time process.
And as we humans after attained a goal, we seek for a new goal. So before and after attaining the goal. Where is peace?
I want to understand these things. If anyone can answer my questions please reply.
When we try to find peace we can't find it... Because there is no peace and knowing this is peace.. it's my point of view

What is mukti?
First thing first, Sandeep Maheshwari is no reference to compare Acharya Prashant. One is a motivational speaker while the other is an Adyatmic teacher. The job of a motivational speaker is to pump you up to achieve material success, which is not an Adyatmic teacher. Now coming to your question of what is peace, it is when you have no desire, including the desire for peace. The method to be free from something is to know that thing. If you can understand what is greed and why and how it comes into existence in you, then you can be free from it as you will know it is not useful for you based on your knowledge about it. This is true about anything, such as envy, ego, etc. In order to know something, one has to focus on it and analyze it. This requires Dhyan so that you can meditate on the subject you want to know. Once you have done this for everything you are attached to then you will be free from those things. That is how you get Mukti.
There is peace but, we find peace in wrong place...
When you look the sky with full of stars in night, and just look at it without chattering inside..

Meditation ek tarah ki mind ki exercise hoti h. Ye karne se hum mosibte kam nahi hoti lekin un se ladne ki takat milti h. Mind fresh ho jata h. Mind me sirf kaam ki baate rahti h.

Being an experienced meditator, I can confirm he is correct. True meditation means you are not trying to listen or see anything. Success in Med. is when everything is silent. There should be no sounds. As simple as that!
