Well, that tends to be either Denville Hall,up in Northwood, north London, or Brinsworth House in Twickenham,a stones throw from here. Usually to see out their last days in comfort
18: 01 I remember that man with dark hair and eye glasses who worked at that cheese shop, around 2009 or 2010.. he always seemed to peer out of that window at me as I walked past that shop, from time to time.
One thing to be said about Richmond, is that it has several independent bookshops. I'm not counting Waterstones, which is a chain. Booksellers are becoming increasingly rare these days.
Jagger used to own the house on Richmond Hill. Downe House has a fabulous view, over the Thames and the meadow. It's *probably* the best view in London. I think he moved out after he split with Jerry Hall. If he still owns it, he'd be renting it out at some phenomenal rent. I think he has something up in town now. Ron Wood bought Sir John Mills' old place on the Thames riverside somewhere. I don't know where exactly. His favourite pub was The Cricketers on the Green. I went in there ONCE. I wasn't impressed. Part of it was like a very seedy burger joint with plastic tables. That was quite a long time ago admittedly. The Crown is much better. I once overheard a couple of old roadies planning to start a rock band, in the Crown. The ultimate Richmond fantasy. 😆😁 Keith Richards owns (or owned) a house in Chelsea. I don't think he has anything in Richmond. He is based in Connecticut, with his American wife. The point is they all own properties all over the world. It's hard to say where they "live." Standard rich people's tax avoidance procedure.
So peaceful ❤😊

I can assure you that not only retirees live in Richmond. I have lived near the park since I was 27 yrs old. Would not live anywhere else in the UK.
awesome! the title is more to tease people. But I am glad you enjoyed the walk! And yes I love Richmond, specially the view from the hill top.
