  • Sorry for the slower pace, got emotional... a serious video this week. Sharing some thoughts about what happened for Cambridge students due to the coronavirus situation, and what it means for the channel.
    Perhaps it's time to grow the channel! Transition into popular music? What do you think? Any ideas for popular videos?
    Thank you everyone!

    Allow me to say that despite not being a finalist, I feel the same sorrow for unable to say farewell to my seniors as well.
    Please take care, I hope to see you again soon next year.
    It doesn't matter whether you will see them again or not. They are already in our hearts. Forever.

    do you think Cambridge teaches students in some ways so that they become great? I was watching an MIT lecture and the teacher was going like: this are the situations... and the adversaries are... so I was thinking: the teacher taught them to expect adversaries and know how to cope with them or be at peace, instead of running into adversaries in life and then complain about them all day long, which could be an important life lesson

    You know my usual anime reccs, though those are pretty heavy, so I'd recommend something more light-hearted, like Hinamatsuri, or Keep your Hands off Eizouken! I think you'd enjoy both and probably need something a bit more upbeat!

    Are you planning on doing the masters or get a job?

      Masters! It's called Part III in Cambridge for maths, and it's an excellent course. Probably job after, still undecided!

    Why didn't you study music at university?

    • @MichaelNgPiano
      @MichaelNgPiano  4 года назад +1

      I did maths competitions during secondary school and began to enjoy maths a lot - also suffered from some injuries which meant that professional music might be difficult.

      Oh nice, unfortunate the part of the injuries tho. I also enjoy math competitions and the style of questions they ask. I really like math but I'm not sure if I should fully commit and study pure maths at university or just engeeniring, which I don't like as much but has more job opportunities I guess.
      What has been your experience with maths at university?
      I know this audience is probably here for the piano videos, but maybe you could do more maths related ones. I enjoy both, and personally I think there is a lot of people who would like to hear from a third year student of maths at Cambridge. Just a thought.
