- This video is about my experience of the (free!) Cambridge University Selwyn College summer school for sciences & I was looking at biological natural sciences course! I made so many amazing friends and learned how to get into Oxbridge and how to get into cambridge university through writing a good personal statement etc. This vlog is of my 4 days there!
I hope you stay till the end of this video! I had such a wonderful insightful experience and am so grateful for the people that made my time so memorable :)

I was in Cambridge last summer and I totally felt like I was in Hogwarts too :) The medicine lecture seems so interesting! I actually just got word that I've been accepted to med school, and that's partly thanks to you and your motivation videos, because you really helped me stay on top of things and push myself to revise! I went to the shadowing scheme at Cambridge this year. It was amazing to see what Cambridge is like during term time. My accommodation was similar to yours. I'll never forget the formal style dinner at St John's college. Standing up and listening to one of the fellows speak in Latin was an unusual tradition to me, before meals were brought out.

Ah, this is so nice to watch! I was on the summer school with you (Theology Jenny, if you're wondering) and it's so lovely to see everyone's faces again. Your room looked exactly the same as mine! I'm going to show this to my mum because, while I've got loads of photos, a video is much better for getting a feel of what it was like.

P.S. If you're wondering why I have a RUclips channel, it was created for a Cambridge Divinity competition in which you had to submit a 5-minute film about religion via RUclips. Turns out that film is half the reason I got into the summer school in the first place...

Attended the exact same summer school at Selwyn College this past summer. Honestly can say one of the best experiences I have had. Met some amazing people and every day, activity and lecture was so interesting and fun! Highly recommend!

I just graduated from Selwyn and seeing you in an identical room to my room in first year is kind of the first thing that has made me emotional about leaving. What a wild ride!
I returned yesterday from a 3 day residential/summer school called Go Higher, revolving around university and higher education. It was the best experience of my life and I miss it so much! Nice to see that you also had an amazing time at your summer school but now I wish I'd have vlogged my experience for myself too haha ❤

Watching your video makes me miss Cambridge so much! I was blessed with a scholarship to join Cambridge University's winter camp last year at Queens' for 3 weeks, and it was the best academic experience I've ever had. I'm guessing you're going to apply to Cambridge as well hahaha. Good luck and awesome channel btw! 😁😁

I knew several Welsh people who attended Selwyn College when I was there and there was a very large thriving University Welsh Society (Cymdeithas Y Mabinogi).
I really want to do this next year, it looks great !!
I attended the Cambridge summer school also, but mine was a Murrey Edwards for 1 week. We didn't get to choose our lectures like you did ahaha we had a timetable with specifically assigned lectures to your course, either way it was such a great experience!

This was such a great video! If you loved the architecture of Selwyn you should check out its sister college in Oxford which is Keble and was built first by the same architect! I have an offer to study law at Keble next year and think the college is absolutely gorgeous as well as seeming so friendly so far :)

I was supposed to go to cam for interviews but bc of Covid I couldn’t :( it’s always been a shame of mine. I still wanted to experience their summer school however 5000 pounds a very expensive amount to pay and I just can’t afford it:P I’m so glad you enjoyed it jade!!❤️❤️❤️
