Man......Thank you! I have a hard time paying for services that I know I can learn to do, within reason (time vs $$$). About 2yrs ago decided that I needed to learn how to stick metal things together. W/zero experience I bought an unopened Titanium 225, helmet, gloves, & $100 worth of rods for $250. Great deal right....except just about everything I wanted stuck together was
Thank you for the awesome comment!!! I love my mig 200 it does all I as of it!! I dont tig much with it because I have the arccaptian ac/dc tig machine , awesome also!!! But the mig 200 does have a good lift arc. Here are a couple of tip for the tig side that may help you. #1 use only 100% argon for tig only.#2 I use the red 3/32 tungsten sharpened to a point.#3 Clean,Clean,Clean even wipe the metal down with acetone. #4 heat, the way I set up heat is 1 amp per thousandth of an inch of material, so 1/8" is .125 so your heat should be 125 amps plus or minus a little. #5 practice alot lol. Hope these help. Let me know if you have anymore questions, God Bless!!!!!!
The lights a great idea. I'm going to check one of these welders out thanks for the help.
They work great, thank you for watching!!!!
Personally I went with the reboot 170 dual volt mig welder a couple years ago and I gotta say I’m very happy with it
Works good for mig and arc and I tend to use it far more than my ol Lincoln tomb stone unless I’m looking for the heavy stuff
Awesome!!!
I recently bought the MegaSaver kit which included the TIG gun and the spool gun and some other accessories, under $700. Everyone (almost) in the world uses metric.
I love these new multi welders, they save space and money!! I still love my imperial system lol
This is a well made video.
Serious review done by a serious welder.
Thank you for sharing.
God Bless. 🎉
Thank you for your kindness, I like to share affordable equipment to help you guys out!!!
Bro look on their website and they offer the whole upgraded heavy duty twellco or whatever style whip and mig gun for this machine, wow, the thing came in and is ten times better
There hard to beat!!!!
Awesome video thanks for sharing
Thanks buddy for watching, did you see the dm on instagram I sent ya?
@@ACDesignsGarage no I’ll go look 👀
AC love the videos and have learned a lot from you. Have you tried the titanium unlimited MiG 170 from harbor freight??
Thank yoh very much for watching, I haven't yet but im itching to try one!!!
Hey dude..Good rewiew👍But stop weaving when you weld and weld straight instead from right to left..That's my experience after 25 years welding as a professional blacksmith 😁Im considering but that Arccaptain in near future
Thank you, that comes from my motorsport fabrication back ground, they want them dime looking welds for some reason. I've been in hot rod restoration for 20 years myself. I play around with blacksmithing but far from a pro. I love all aspects of metal work!!! That arccaptian is a pretty impressive machine, I have the tig and mig machine!!! Thanks for watching!!!!
Hi AC I liked the video. These new machines are amazing. When you have a chance can you test the AC MIG 200 on some thin sheet metal and share your experience with it. Hey now I know why you like this machine! AC Designs - AC MIG 200. Only kidding :). Hey have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Hahaha yeah im planning on doing one this week or next so stay tuned!!!! Have a Blessed Thanksgiving!!!!!
Haha, that's a fascinating concept. In reality, Adrian truly came through for us. We're immensely thankful for his assistance and also value your support for AC Designs Garage! Happy Thanksgiving too!
Great video. I have a power question; specs on the back say input on 110v is Max 40.7A and 1eff/A 25.7 A. Who the heck has a 50 amp circuit breaker on a 110v circuit? Is this even usable in North America on 110V?
Hahaha not sure, sometimes the translation messes stuff up on these off shore machines lol
have you tried welding aluminum with that machine? it has the AlMg program but it doesn't have a pulse, so it's a little strange to me if it can weld aluminum. greetings
I have a spool gun for it to weld aluminum but I haven't tested it out yet, I hope to in the near future!!!
Any suggestions my weld look like a worm sitting on the metal no stack of dimes. Any idea?
What size wire are you using?
I think you have your clockwise and counterclockwise backwards boss, lol nice review though
I wouldn't doubt it lol, I get mixed up trying to remember everything lol
Now that you have had the machine for almost 6 months have you seen any long term issues ?
I want to make sure that when I spend the money on a machine like this one is going to last at least 5 years or more.
Any input would be great.
On the fence about buying just for that main reason. How was customer support ?
Thanks for reaching out, so far this thing has welded 22ga sheetmetal with flux core all the way up to 1/4" solid core sheilded steel tubing. This thing has never missed a beat. As for customer support its been great. Ive heard of other people thats had small problems and they sent them a new part. I think there on sale for like 350.00 right now and for the money you cant beat it. I have the tig and mig welder and lkve them both! As for long-term I cant give you a 100% but as for now they do what I as of them.
Thank you for the feed back. I now just need to make my final decision and go for it.
