Very nice ride bro………I think you’d get a kick out my 15’ ZL1 max effort FBO stock LSA dynoed at 869 rwhp…….it’s been remarkably reliable so far for 3 years since built for what it is……..however, I don’t daily it anymore. Love mine. Good luck with yours bro.
I owned a white 2015 ZL1 #785, it was an automatic with a sun roof and recaros. I wanted an automatic to race in our street legal class but it was too inconsistent without a lot of modifications to the supercharger cooling system so I sold it. I’m going to Georgia day after tomorrow to pick up a 2015 blue velvet metallic #566, stick shift with recaro’s, exposed carbon fiber hood insert and no sun roof for a daily driver.
Nice conversation friend...I too own a 13 ZL1 'vert... That I drive every chance I get. The silver/gray wheels we have are option lightweights... That collect dust even Hawk pads... Was thinking of putting 315's on the back and you seem to have them fitting... spacers? I have had mine awhile so on my third and maybe final round of engine mods. This last build we did all forged internals and stroked to 419. Except for being loud it is rather civil in traffic. Oh and that wickerbill functions on your car but on a convertible? Thanks for the content!
Hey brother, 315s work no problem. I use the Hawk Ceramic Pro (Yellow) and they work great along with very little to no dust. I can’t confirm if the wickerbill works on verts but I’m sure it would be able to fit somehow.
@@MrLSX Great! didn't want to put on spacers. True the Hawk yellow reduces dust some but given how I drive and we know how you drive I suspect you clean your wheels regularly...as we should... None whatsoever. I’ve only had Kooks and decided to throw TSP on the Camaro because of everyone’s positive comments. 3 years later they are holding up very well.
@@MrLSX it’s to do with less back pressure with the headers and some applications it will drop the psi slightly but the car will be faster with the headers, especially with a proper tune.

this was a great quality video, I also love the cars you own!!!
Thank you I appreciate that!
is the automatic gearbox a good option? im thinking to buy a 2015 zl1 with 18k miles, but it is auto
@@gabrielcajiaojimenez6679 auto isn’t bad at all. Solid trans. But the manual TR6060 is far superior in terms of driving and engaging with the car.

Hey bro, nice video. I hate my pad dust so thanks for the tip. I didn't know there was a track option for the car.
Yes sir. Worlds of difference.
I like simplicity
As do I 😆
Just got a 2013 zl1 I wanna make it more snappy
Headers, CAI, DSX AUX pump, upper pulley, ID1050, E85. That will make her nice and snappy while still being comfortable to drive anywhere.
Nice ride
Thanks man!
Nice car! I’ve got a 13 zl1 too! Curious as to what your mileage was when you changed the brakes? I’m considering doing them myself in the near future
Thank you! Changed them at 53,000.
It’s crazy how a few bolt ons can bring this car to over 600 horses
Yes. This car is such a good all around drivers car already. But the simple boltons really change the personality on it.
What up broski.. when you gonna hit the track again. My Z is on full e85. Don’t forget your tune 👍🏻
Might be hitting it soon but I need a drag pack on the Z to really do anything. What do you mean don’t forget my tune?
How's the general reliability of these? Would perhaps buy one as a summer-car.
Very reliable. Just like any other LS motor, everything is easy to service.
@@MrLSX Awesome! Thanks for your reply, my dude. Appreciate it! Also, great video!
