The “don’t move here” vibe is real throughout GVL county and is not exclusive to TR. 1/4 mile backup at Stalings and Rutherford RD. For your morning commute. Roads are terrible and in desperate need of repaving. Growth is out of control with no thought to road capacity, sewage or the schools needed to support it.
I am in TR and it is more awesome than I dreamed. Super peaceful vibe but homes are expensive here. Greenville is awesome, Greer not so much. Taylor’s is cool no down town and a train runs through there 24/7. I hiked Paris mtn and it was awesome
One of the things I liked about TR was being away from Gville. As a biker, using hwy 11 to get to TR from Easley was awesome. If I get a chance to move back to SC from TX, TR will definitely be near the top of my list.
Upstate SC was once a great place to live in the 70's 80's and 90's now way to many ppl . Years ago traffic wasn't a problem like now. The schools aren't like they once was. Sure crime is higher now. Never thought i would leave but now i'm just waiting on retirenent to sellout and go where it's nice and peaceful. I always prefered the mountains over the upstate and just planned on having a mountain retreat but now the mountain retreat will be a permanant home. Ashe county NC is where i plan going to.
Either prices have come down in TR or the rest of upstate home pricing has gone up - - we’re finding TR comparable to the rest of the area - some houses cheaper, some more expensive - - but housing at a variety of prices.
@@livinginsouthcarolina Im sure you would. Im a RE broker/assoc in Florida. I have some renovations to do to my home first, then sell, so likely 6 months away
Hey man how is the weather in non summer seasons? Do you know if it's worse than Orlando Florida? I have heard it's hotter than Florida and then that it's not. But think they may be talking about Charleston and the coast towns. Thanks

We are moving to Greenville and your videos are very helpful. Thank you!

Just throwing this out there… no ‘s in TR. Just Travelers Rest. Love this city!

The commute from Greenville to TR was not so nice, wouldn’t want to get stuck there at night.
Which area around Greenville, has the absolute least chance of having a snow day or two? I'm looking for zero to no snow.
There’s the off chance that Simpsonville/Fountain Inn can get a storm… but it’s rare.
Just in time. Ive been looking for TR homes on Zillow, but not having any luck finding 411 on the town itself. How far is it time-wise to Asheville?
Only about an hour and 15 min from Asheville.
We’d love to help you find a home!

Footage
Travelers Rest is like commonly known for being racist lol 😂
Which means it's the least racist! Areas known for being not racist are the most racist. 😅
super grainy video man
HD is likely still processing. Check back in a few and it should be HD!

@@dawson0610 Its def colder in the fall/winter than Orlando. Reference: I lived in Tampa for 5 years.
@@smitty30rocks Is the spring hot? Or as hot as Tampa?
travelers rest is for the lgbtq community
is that so?
@@silkemueller1391 I’ve worked here almost 2 years and I would say that is absolutely not true! This person is just a weirdo.
