I have played around with the melee weapons a bit and found the axe to be super op. The charged attack hits twice in a row and can be followed up by another one, which also hits twice. With increased attack speed its very spicy.
Some notes: Only The Ex-Cultist mod (The healing one) can not be bought Right at The Begining, also his Melee Weapon is actually Very good, it has Speed and DMG, not The Best in any but versatile, also Having only 2 move combo is not necessarily a Bad Thing, some times simple is Better
You had me at each starter armor set having its' "Ehwn Behwnus". The way you say Bonus is eerily similar to Chester "Snake" Turley from The Simpsons, lol... In case anybody still cares: Nexus mods has several MODS for this game! I went for backpack off (graphical, inventory is still there) and damage reduction mod (Yeah, then bleeding and poisoning killed my huntress anyway).
but in regards to crouch walking that's been a question I've had I don't think the crouch walking has any other it's just physics if you're breaking line-of-sight like hidden behind something crouch walking up on them they can't see you they don't detect you. unlike many other games we're at actually the act of crouching might stealth you doesn't work that way in this game. not obviously if you have the shadow Walker trade that has a stealthy function in that it decreases their detection zone. in any case being stealthy in this game takes on a whole new light. You really do have to brake line of sight by hiding behind objects and staying out of their detection zone if you want to pass them without agroing them. and a little bit goes a long way as far as Shadow Walker goes just a few points will make a huge difference in how they agro to you.
Scrap sword is slower than the cultist mele, which allows for spamming mele. The sword and hammer are too slow for that, but the sword is nice for mobs that jump back - not a huge factor but its there.
Once you have the Submachine gun, how do you equipe yourself with it? The three weapon slots are already taken and I don't see a way to remove one of the weapons that you start with.
Dying in the cinematics right before you get to work 13 is not the same as choosing to skip the tutorial. if you just dye used to let the complete the rest of the tutorial and activate the crystal. if you chose to skip it during character creation then the crystal will be active you'll choose your class and you'll be fully geared ready to go
I so badly wanted to see that fan shred me into hamburger but you can't walk into it anymore.so from what you said I'm assuming you must have been able to walk into it and people complain about getting turned into a hamburger.

There might be s I haven't noticed that I've been hit many times rolling pasta leads or whatever special enemies. In any case if there are s they're very short. Your best bet is to roll through of elite or a special and turn to attack.it's been my experience that most of them that Miele you have quite a long range melee weapon and if you try to roll back away from them it won't be far enough

if i had to guess the game has maybe like 8-10 s. they definitely exist but arent as forgiving as in souls
Yeah I love it when they all stack up coming at me in front of an Archer and they all get wiped

You can also skip this tort at the start of every new character by kust taking a death 🤣
Another tip I discovered is if you forward roll off second story ledges you'll turn a flip mid air and land on your feet without any fall damage
