    Sonos has entered the chat 😂. He’s making it seem like this is brand new. Sonos has been doing this for years and can go up to 7.1.4 vs Denon’s 5.1 for around the same prices if not a bit lower depending on the setup… that said, I love that Denon is entering into this market to create competition 👍🏾.

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The aim of this video is to bring awareness to Denon's Home range of wireless smart speakers and to explain what is different about them from the competition while highlighting some of their unique features. There are many brands that manufacture a range of wireless smart speakers, all of which do something different to one another. Ultimately, the choice of which brand to go for will come down to personal preference and what it is you are looking to achieve from your audio system. Denon Home is great for all the reasons explained in the video. And as you pointed out, competition is great for driving innovation.

      I own a Sonos and they have annoyed their customer base In quite frankly a terminal way taking away Nas support.so many are selling their Sonos equipment and moving to alterations like me.

    They have advertised it in videos as a 5.1 system but the sound bar only has 2 channels so with 2 rear speakers it’s actually only a 4.1 system with a phantom center

    Chrome Cast support would be very helpful

    But they're not totally wireless as these speakers need a power cable. And for stereo separation one needs a pair, right? For the Denon CEOL N-10 compact system would a pair of the 150s be compatible instead of wired ones?

    If we get 2 surround speakers and the subwoofer, wouldn’t the sound be 4.1, not 5.1 as you said?

      If you count number of speakers, than you have 3.1 actually

    I have a customer that owns a restaurant/bar. Currently they have Itunes/androind juke box, they are tired of it. This is a older building, built around 1910 and has a few challenges putting in a audio system. The ceiling height ranges from 20'-10', the main sitting area has the 20' ceilings and 35' long. I'm thinking about doing a pair of 350's along with the wireless denon sub. Do you think the sub is necessary(I would always say yes)? I have yet to hear the 350's

      Stereo paired DHT350s will have a great room filling sound.
      However, adding a sub to the system & creating essentially a 2.1 system will sound amazing, as the workload will be split. The DSPs will handle the channels/low pass effortlessly

      Have you considered Sonos? They have been doing this for years and I can vouch that their speakers sound and work great!

      This is a really good question. The wireless nature of the Denon Home products make them an excellent audio solution when running traditional cabling isn't an option. Given the dimensions of your space, 2x Denon Home 350s would be ideal and I would definitely recommend adding the Denon Home Subwoofer to the system as it will help to achieve a more impressive soundstage that fills the room. The best thing about Denon Home is that it is a system you can build overtime, so you can keep adding and expanding until you achieve the exact sound you are looking for.

    Hi, Is the speaker Denon 250 compatible with older speakers like the Heos Home Cinema?

    • @AVHifiCinema
      @AVHifiCinema  Год назад

      Hello, thanks for watching and commenting. Any speakers that are HEOS compatible can be used as part of a multi-room system via the HEOS app. The new Denon Home products are backwards compatible with older HEOS branded products.

    How many speakers in total can be connected?

  • @xanderlax157

    I bought two the two Dennon 150 speakers and a Dennon 800h amp. The speakers sound great but Heos often drops off or ghost plays. Heos has a series of issues. It locks you out, drops off, and the new interface is missing Spotify. When you play direct in Spotify it sometimes works then switches to direct so it will play two different songs when you are trying to play just one.
    I bought the Dennon 800H to play the 150s in one room while I play main speakers in another. In theory you can link all the speakers but the software is so bad it just drops off the gives an error message "please try back later". I thought I would forget the Bluetooth and just wire direct. This doesn't work either as 800h is not compatible. 800h also only functions without cutting out at volume if you put a fan on it. Apparently after speaking to Richer Sounds where I bought these, it is possible to wire but only one speaker? What?
    I'm selling my Dennon crap and moving to another company. Expensive and software is poor.

      So adding two Denon 150s to your amp is enough, no need for wired speakers?

    I have 4 denon Home speakers, in every corner is one, but the sound has many issues over bluetooth connection, the speakers need a reset almost every 3 days...

    • @AVHifiCinema
      @AVHifiCinema  Год назад

      Hello, thanks for watching and commenting. Is there any particular reason that you are connecting to the speakers over bluetooth? Given that it has a limited range and is affected by walls within the home, you will get a much stronger connection by connecting the speakers over your home wi-fi network. I think this might solve your issues! Give it a try and let us know how you get on.
