Change out the bell crank, even though this is like years old for anybody with a yeti XL put aluminum bell crank, and then you’re going to have to die up your alignment because the aluminum ones are always a bit off from stock, but they don’t flex like stock
Nice! Noob question: How does the servo saver effect the steering? I'm asking because I installed a Savox 2290SG running at 7.4v on my xmaxx which is supposed to give me 763oz of torque but the steering is pretty underwhelming. I was expecting better with that upgrade so I'm wondering if maybe it's because of my stock servo saver spring? I adjusted trim and end points as well so it's not that. Running stock tires.
Yeah the stock Xmaxx Servo saver is too soft. The metal gear 2085x actually comes with a stiffer spring to install along side the Servo.l which makes it feel like it has more power. You might wanna look into buying the stiffer spring. It will make the steering more direct but it’s not gonna protect your Servo from damage quite as well as the stock spring would. Kinda have to compromise. Can’t have the best of both worlds unfortunately
I think this is what I want...stiffer spring that comes with the metal gear servo ..I think ... www.ebay.com/itm/383678661506?epid=14032307180&hash=item595507c382:g:kBEAAOSwOOZfOBdf

Needs some sway bars to keep it from doing one wheel torque wheelies.
You’re right…they’re kinda cool though 😎
My bearings in the diff keep failing? Tried thinner diff oil but still chews itself apart?
I’m not very familiar with this machine tbh…wish I could be more help

@@RCKnockout Makes sense. Can you buy the stiffer spring? Or they only sell it with the Traxxas servo?

Another problem is you wasted money on Savox. They are overpriced turds. They sucked in my Xmax let alone my 3D helicopters.
I want one so bad
Unfortunately they are discontinued. You’d have to find one used
Bro if u take her home ul sort her in no time for ur mate bro
