I can’t wait to see more about your breeding projects! We need to get some captive breeding started in the USA, too!

Thank you so much for sharing this and everything your doing for this amazing and underrated species. I can’t wait to take my trip out there to see them in the wild and learn more first hand about how they live and hopefully improve how I keep them. I feel so lucky to own my little army of captive bred babies now and can’t wait to see what the future has in store with pairing my other adults. I can’t wait to see what my babies produce in the future as well specially the ones with high reds, whites, and high blacks and even the striped ones. But that’s a few years away and I’m in no rush. I just enjoy watching and interacting with all the babies and in no rush for them to grow up. I love my little gremlins and still have about 30 babies left. So I have a few available if you know anyone that’s interested. I’ve turned away a few people that lack experience with monitors because I feel they aren’t for everyone specially if your not willing to put in the work and time. These babies are my pride and joy and won’t give them to unfit homes. I’ve given some to dedicated keepers that want to help the species because I’m not in it for money I just love this species and it’s been going over 30 years now of keeping them and will never stop. I wish you the best and hope all is well bud 🙋‍♂️✌️

Thank you so much for your amazing videos on the Savannah monitors! I have one as a pet myself and love him very much. You have shown me a lot of things I wanted to know about them and helped out a lot in the design of my savannahs vivarium and the types of food I am providing him. There is an astonishing amount of misinformation on them and I am so glad to see someone like you going out there to their home and showing us how they really live. Since my Sav is alone for now and since we will be moving in the near future, he is allowed to roam the house as much as is safely possible and we use a cat toy to play with him and to stimulate his hunting behaviour. I made a little video on that as well if you are interested but I'm not a very good camera person. We aim to provide him his own large room once we move so he can have as much space as possible while of course also still being allowed to roam the house whenever we are around to supervise him. I always wanted to work in a similar field but moved toward the biomedical field. Amazing to see your work, cant wait to see more :D
