I'm on a protective style journey for 2yrs until 9/2023 to reach tailbone length and wearing box braids until then which gives me a lot of options to style my braid. Did you reach your goal? I’m going the same. I already have waist length but took the braids out and it was almost there but ended up trimming it a lot due to single strand knots 🤦🏾♀️

I HADNT BEEN ON RUclips IN YEARS BUT THAT DAY, I WANTED TO CHECK IT OUT. ONE OF YOUR BRAIDING TUTORIALS WERE THE FIRST VIDEO MY EYES LOCKED IN ON. IT WAS ONE OF YOUR RUBBER AND METHOD BRAIDING TUTORIALS. I WAS HOOKED! I BINGE WATCHED ALL YOUR VIDEOS YOU HAD POSTED THUS FAR. THE VERY NEXT DAY I WENT ON AMAZON AND ORDERED ME A MANNEQUIN, RUBBER BANDS, 2 BIG JARS OF SHINE AND JAM, RATTAIL COMBS, MOUSSE, AND EVERY KIND OF HAIR I COULD THINK OF, FROM BRAIDING, CROCHET, TWIST, AND KINKY. EVERYDAY I WOULD GET ON RUclips AND SEE WHAT STYLE YOU WERE UPLOADING THAT DAY AND I WOULD GRAB MY MANEQUIN, HAIR AND SUPPLIES AND TRY TO MIMICK YOUR STYLE OF THE DAY. ALMOST EVERYTIME WAS A DISASTER BUT IT WAS SO MUCH FUN TRYING TO LEARN THE TECHNIQUES. MY DEPRESSION WAS FADING AWAY MORE AND MORE EACH AND EVERYDAY.
