For most of you that dont know the 2nd rapper. He's Snatcha of The former group, Rooftop MCs. Google them now. They were Nigerian pioneer Christian rappers. A group of two. JayMikee rapped first. Well done boss.
I always catch myself rewinding Abattoir (then), just so I could sing along. Now, we have a video! Thank you. I love the beat that comes after "to reclaim what belongs to us" Thank you for helping us with the lyrics!
It's time we shine our light above the darkness. The time otf manifestation is here, help us Lord to win this battle over darkness in Jesus Name, Amen 🙏🙏🙏
My Abbatoir reminderrr!!! I love it! Reminds me of the day i was officially introduced to these spiritual movies... #MountZion! & from that time, i lost interest in other movies!
Am downloading this right away. Am not good with season film hence I can't keep up with the episode but am going back to continue watching soon. This song is lit!🔥🔥
Thank you Jaymikee!!! Finally, I get to stop chewing my mouth when I get to the rap... I tried listening to the rap but I just didn't get it! Edited version: if I'm to grade myself, I got a 70%!😌. I mean, I only missed a few words here and there. Even the rap, I have 6/10🥂. Send us more sir🤲🏾
Good morning sir, I love the song but I think there is a mistake in one of the lines which is "no power can not stop us" I think the "not" should be removed, it's really interesting. God bless you and more grace in Jesus name Amen.
It's not wrong. It's a grammatical characteristic and device found in Ebonics (also known as AAVE, short for African American Vernacular English) - the version of English spoken by African Americans in the US. Of course, it follows that the modern rap music genre, of which African Americans are the pioneers, have these kinds of expressions in them. I think it's called double negatives or something like that. An example " I don't got got no problems." which simply means "I don't have problems." You can look it up online for more information. Hope that helps. Cheers.
