I had a Batmobile with the Batboat and the Bond mobile (the tricked out Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger) in my collection, I get nostalgic when I see a Batmobile being restored. Good work as always
looks great again, ready to run. :) the genius that created these mechanisms is beyond me. :) also, the patience of the assembly workers back then. just one critic: please don't use tools like drillbits or tap bits to hammer a center hole into anything. these tools are so hard they could shatter into very sharp pieces! I made that mistake when I was younger, and the one shard off that drillbit went straight into the wall instead of my arm... :0
Good job on a very complex model! Have you thought of using flat cap head screws with a hex (allen) fitting? They closely resemble rivets, more so than Phillips screws
Nice restoration, details and paint job 👌 👍
Great restoration! You did a fantastic of restoring this model. Thanks for sharing this.

Fantastic Jason! You just need to do the Dinky Toys Thunderbird 2! I have one in dire need of restoration!

I have but I prefer the completely flat head of the laptop m2 screws that I use. Allowing a flush finish is what makes it for me
