I cannot imagine the pain Holy Mary felt when Dear Jesus was being scourged, the movie The Passion showed poor Mother Mary cleaning the blood and tissue at the pillar. Carrying his cross and falling would be so unbearable to watch, agonizing. Finally being crucified and dying the most cruel and painful torture on the cross. Thank you so much Dear Jesus for sacrificing yourself for my redemption. Thank you so much! Thank you holy Mary for parenting dear Jesus so well. Giving Jesus all the love he deserved. Couldn’t imagine the pain and horrible weight of this horrific execution and torture.

Some that do a Hail Mary for each sorrow and some that do 7 Hail Mary’s for each sorrow. And some that require a litany at the end. So it gets confusing but I really like this one. A small clarification is important for the 3rd Sorrowful Mystery: The Young Christ was missing for 3 days and Holy Mary asked Him why He was missing - but there was no reason for any accusation; Therefore, God necessarily, immediately rejected the implication of ANY WRONGDOING... Jesus necessarily had to remind her: " WHY were you looking for me? Did you not know that I (obediantly)HAD TO BE in My Father's House?" Jesus Christ most likely told His Virgin Mother that He would meet her in his Father's House...and Holy Mary misunderstood, thinking that He was referring to Joseph, His Foster Father. No...here we witness Christ affirming His Divinity: God is the Father He referred to.
