Commentator Alex Stein says Donald Trump will have “more support than he’s ever had” after the assassination attempt on him.
Former US president Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt at his rally in Pennsylvania over the weekend.
Despite sustaining an injury to his ear from a flying bullet, the former president is still expected to attend the Republican National Convention on Tuesday.
“Now, he’s going to have more support than he’s ever had,” Mr Stein told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
“This assassination attempt is going to backfire and end up being the best thing for Donald Trump.”

If your going to surround the president and create a human shield, it might help if you chose agents who were tall enough to accomplish that. Trump can clearly be seen towering over a female agent who provided little cover. But the Secret Service has said their goal is to add more female agents as if that is more important.
